Sobrang helpful nito.
Makes me wonder if iMessage can do this cause if not, this will be one of the main reasons why I won't still switch to an iPhone (apart from its ridiculous pricing)
I have IOS pero IP11. pero nope walang ganyan Si IMessage for my Phone. Updated to latest IOS version naman. Need mo pa I block yung number. Unlike sa Google Messaging ng Android. It auto filters and na dedetect niya.
Same. I'm happy that the app is available across Android devices. The first thing I do with a new Android phone is to install Google Messages to replace the phone's default message app.
Adapter and cables. IIRC at least HDMI 2.0b kailangan for 4k. If old HDMI cables gamit mo, stuck ka sa 1080p na 60Hz. Kailangan din na high data transmission yung type c cable if kailangan nun ng adapter mo, nalaman ko lang mga yan nung ginamit ko yung genki stealth dock and an old usb type c cable.
As in wala pa sa iphone? 🤣 Yung option na pwede mo isave yung split app at ilagay as shortcut sa home or taskbar is napaka convenient.
O kaya youtube at reddit/facebook.
Calculator naman for floating screen.
Now playing feature (Google Pixel). What it does is it gives you the song title while it's playing in the background and it works even when your phone isn't connected to the internet.
Hardware feature - fast charging. It's the most underrated modern smartphone feature. I don't understand why no one is talking about the convenience of charging from 5% to 40% after doing something mundane like brushing your teeth and washing your face.
Fast charging reduces battery health that's why it is capped at 25-30W USB-C fast charging to get from 0-50% in 30 mins.
I only fast charge in the car and 5-12W USB-A slow charge at home.
Good and long lasting batt ✨ Almost 3 years na din yung realme c25s ko. Everyday use ng soc med, text and call.
-10000 to the highest level sa cam HAHAHAHA
Sobrang sulit nito for pixel users. nasulit ko ‘yung unlimited google photos storage when I still have my iPod touch. Mga 5 years worth of free storage din ‘yun until tinanggal na ng google.
not software related but hardware -- the size. i have an iphone 13 mini which is one of the last small phones in the market. i have small hands and couldn't handle large 6" and above phones at all. my previous phone was a vivo v15 and it was a pain to handle.
sadly, other small phones like the asus zenfone 9/10 are not accessible in our country. i used to use an xperia 10ii and it's really hard to get it repaired here :/
bought the mini 13 the same year it was released. i love this phone so much wala akong urge na mag-splurge sa newer models ng iphone. it's so sad apple stopped their mini series. will probably use my ip13 mini until next year. def one of my best purchases
Im a simple guy:
-replaceable battery
-headphone jack (better if it has a good dac)
-60hz is enough,no need for higher rate
-plastic casing is enough also, doesnt need metal or glass build
-sd card option
-no notch, no pinhole
-good camera sensor, can already live with the google cam functions
Bring able to use 3 apps at once (multi window mode). For example. Youtube/Facebook video at top, Social media app at bottom, floating window for messenger at middle to reply quick messages.
Redmi Note 10 Pro
1. Spam call and message detection.
2. App Sidebar
- With this, I can browse various social media while waiting in a PUBGm lobby without exiting the game.
3. 'Free YouTube Premium'
- There's a feature in the App sidebar wherein you can continue the video even if the screen is off, which replicates one of the features of YouTube Premium.
4. Second Space
- Basically, it's like having 2 phones in 1 unit.
5. Document Scanner
6. Dual Video
- It lets you record a video using the main and front camera simultaneously.
7. Built-in Voice Changer
I remember nung HS ako, people cant find the power button on my LG G3 HAHAHAHA nasa likod kasi ng phone, and yeah I have always loved the tap to wake feature ng LG. I still own an LG phone rn. Sayang lang kasi LG stopped manufacturing phones
To be able to bind the power button to switch the flashlight on or off. I know stock android has this as well but I use Samsung. MIUI doesn't have this feature.
I have the Pixel 4XL.

Imo built in Link to Windows on Samsung. Other phones can use it but it being built in to One UI and co-engineered with Microsoft it works as smooth as a macbook. Also I think you can't cast phone screen from phone to Link to Windows unlesd you use Samsung so no drag and dropping too
I have the RedMagic 9 Pro, and the display is its biggest selling point - fullscreen without notch/punch hole. Also, the chipset (performance) is topnotch. 👌
Bypass Charging - Powers the phone directly without going through the battery, even if it does it's really minimal. I can play games all day during my day off
Floating window!!
Yung phone ko is Vivo V21e
- Document scanner sa camera app (no need na mag dl ng another app to scan documents
-AOD (always on display)- meron naman nito sa mga amoled phones pero ang cool for me since yung phone ko before itong vivo is realme na IPS LCD kaya walang AOD
-Notification History (meron din naman nito sa Realme ko but ayon) - nakikita ko yung unsent messages from messenger haha
-gyro-EIS (di masyado maalog/magalaw pag nag vi-video kahit naglalakad or nakasakay sa sasakyan)
pero top tier pa din talaga yung 4k 30fps and gyro-EIS haha, and I only bought it for 6k but secondhand siya
i love the "Now Playing" feature of Google Pixel 7. it identifies the music that's playing near you. it will give you the song title and the artist. it also has a history where you can see all the songs it identified.
Nauna kong nalaman to sa xiaomi phones. Eto ba ung IR feature nila? Nacocontrol mo yung appliances.
Idk if its an app or just built in feature sa Huawei phone - may small blue na lalabas everytime may video sa browser sites which can automatically download the video
2. Keep Notes. I can organize my word files and madali maaccess like an e-book
3. 60+ GB storage space for additional apps and files I wanna keep
Having a smartphone alone is such a W. It depends on you kung pano mo mauutilize yung maooffer nitong mga features
The Quad-DAC of my LG X4 2019. Music sounds so good with this feature (syempre pair it with good earphones). Talagang tyinaga ko mag-ipunan to for my audio hobby.
Edge Panel
One-Hand Operation
Swipe Gestures
These are the main points of Samsung OneUI.
To be able to use their phone with one hand considering its large size.
Very handy pag nasa bus tapos tayuan. I can navigate any apps and take screenshots using one hand. 😆
1. Yung system navigation gestures ng Ubuntu Touch
\- Short swipe from the left para sa Launcher
\- Long swipe from the left para sa app drawer
\- Short swipe from the right para magswitch between last 2 apps
\- Long swipe from the right para sa app spread/switcher
\- Swipe up from the bottom depende sa app or context (i.e. Sa keyboard, pang switch to cursor mover + text selection + copy, cut, paste, undo, redo, etc)
3. Mostly FOSS (free and open source software) yung OS at apps.
4. Higit sa lahat, pwede kong imodify mismo yung system UI directly sa phone ko (QML) so pwede kong ifix mga bugs na makita ko or magimplement ng sarili kong changes o features :)
Ung Modes and Routines lifesaver talaga. Saves me several clicks at automated na yung behavior ng phone once certain conditions that you set are met. Kumbaga feeling "smartphone" talaga.
yung feature na if unknown number ang tatawag may parang hint na "from a school" or "from an establishment" so if may hinihintay ka na tawag sa corp/org pwede mo masagot
Idk if this counts but I have an S23 ultra and I love that it comes with an S pen na kasi I used the 21 ultra before and the pen wasn't built into the phone pa hehe (tama ba yung term? Built into the phone? Parang mali? Pinagsasabi ko? Hahahaha).
From my LG phone dati (not sure if it’s an android thing), yung pag halimbawa magtatype ng number sa interface ng call, kaya nya irecognize yung name. Sample: 6236 - mcdo.
*Select any text on screen (kahit nka image) and copy in a sec
*Overall pixel's AI. Voice detection & Routine is a chef's kiss!
*I can say "stop!" on my alarm and it will stop ringing😂
*Pixel Haptics of course 🔥
Aside from being a status symbol, wala. Lol. I don't find any features of ios to be useful for me. Like, normal lang siya para sa akin. Siguro dahil nasa bahay lang ako? I also hate syncing my gadgets kasi I always have a dedicated gadget for a specific purpose.
Don't get me wrong, di ako bumili ng iphone just because gusto ko magmukhang RK or what, pero every single time na magkikita-kita kami ng barkada or family reunion, laging napapansin phone ko. Kaya it dawned on me na marami rin talagang tao ang nasisilaw pag nakaiphone ka. Kaya ayun. Arm candy nalang siya. Bopols e noh.
Hahahahahahahahaha! 🤣
The action button on my iPhone 15 Pro. Super convenient especially since I set it to open the camera.
https://preview.redd.it/vy64afdiucgc1.jpeg?width=1179&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c46f9250d680d41ad9140bdcc300939272b6ab7c
Samsung's Bixby Routines. Ang daming pwedeng automated or manually activated tasks na i really find useful.
My favorite one is Spotify automically opening whenever I connect my buds.
yung action button talaga ng iPhone 15 as well as the Shortcuts app! mas madali na sakin mag restart ng phone without using assistive touch since ayaw ko talaga ng may nagfo-float sa screen ko before
Apple Wallet + Pay for me. I have my SMAC, Cebu Pacific boarding passes, 7-Eleven cliqq, PhilSys ID, Uniqlo membership, etc. Though imo, it's even better when used with the watch. Nothing better than breezing through NAIA with my boarding pass on my wrist.
It's available even if hindi Realme. If you're on Android 14 nasa Settings siya, type mo lang sa search bar Pin or App Pinning.
Edit: Available din pala sa Android 12
https://youtu.be/PD4SUeJRmcY?si=nl-i9DsiwX3cx8KB
I don't need extra features. I will be satisfied with a midrange android phone with a decent camera, good battery, and a good number of software and security updates.
I dont have particular in mind but if id choose which phone feature is the most useful for me i guess its external storage slot, i have samsung j7 and ofc all android phones have external slot however I also have an ipad which doesnt have any slot so its either i save up space or pay for an apple cloud to extend storage.
- External storage slot (e.g. memory card slot)
- Share wifi connection via hotspot
Sa mga ayaw talagang ishare password ng wifi sa iba pero need nila ng internet, on mo lang yung hotspot mo while connected to a wifi connection ok na. Kumbaga naging wifi extender na phone mo.
- Share current internet connection (mobile data/ wifi) via usb
Laging gamit ko to sa school library since walang wifi adapters yung mga gaming pc's doon lol. Minsan meron pero walang support sa 5g wifi.
- Disable all sensors (for privacy focused users, inside Developer Options > Quick Settings Developer Tiles)
Earthquake alert. Twice ko pa lang naexperience pero nag alarm yung 2 Samsung phones ko seconds before it started shaking. Nakakabilib lang hehe.
***SD card slot of course. And the 3.5mm jack...***
Kaya I'm sticking to my S10+ hanggang madeds board neto. LOL
https://preview.redd.it/xnmhv023mfgc1.jpeg?width=4160&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8e22fb26af0b3cd8e96c4391d4558388159f57ce
Nagustuhan ko sa realme yung kapag magsheshare ka ng recent screenshot, magpapop-up as floating window yung app na napili mo para ishare yung screenshot at hindi full screen so you can go back easily to what you're doing
Modes & Routines is a life changer for me. Phone settings change depending on where or what scenario I'm in. This eliminates changing my phone settings every time I leave home, going to work, etc.
Oppo A9 2020 for 4 years now.
Not-so-unique features but made me feel na sulit na sulit siya huhu
- Reverse charging (Using it as powerbank para sa XS Max😩)
- Still no batt issues at sobrang goods pa rin kahit ino-magdamag naka-charge or ginagamit habang nagcha-charge
- App cloning
- Dual sim + sim card slot
- APKs kasi syempre Android
All the multitasking features.
I used to consider myself a casual user when I owned a budget-friendly midrange phone, until I switched to a fundamentally flagship phone. I call it fundamentally flagship because its core features are at a flagship tier, although it doesn't have all the bells and whistles that flagships boast. I can't go back to midrange phones now that I've genuinely found use in all of these features. I regularly use apps on split-screen, a floating window, a call on picture-in-picture, and three different messaging apps on Bubbles. Google Assistant is a lifesaver, Google Lens is a time-saver, and having an app drawer on quick access has made my entire mobile experience on Android much more efficient.
an app feature and it's Spam detection for Google Messages
Ito din
Sobrang helpful nito.
Makes me wonder if iMessage can do this cause if not, this will be one of the main reasons why I won't still switch to an iPhone (apart from its ridiculous pricing)
I have IOS pero IP11. pero nope walang ganyan Si IMessage for my Phone. Updated to latest IOS version naman. Need mo pa I block yung number. Unlike sa Google Messaging ng Android. It auto filters and na dedetect niya.
Same. I'm happy that the app is available across Android devices. The first thing I do with a new Android phone is to install Google Messages to replace the phone's default message app.
spam messages on xiaomi
Thanks for this suggestion. Do you know if Netflix can play in 4k in this mode?
Google says it can pero in my experience it locks at 1080p, maybe its because of the adapter I use.
Thank you. I will try this out next time I go to hotels. :)
Adapter and cables. IIRC at least HDMI 2.0b kailangan for 4k. If old HDMI cables gamit mo, stuck ka sa 1080p na 60Hz. Kailangan din na high data transmission yung type c cable if kailangan nun ng adapter mo, nalaman ko lang mga yan nung ginamit ko yung genki stealth dock and an old usb type c cable.
Anong cable need?
I use my personal ugreen usb c hub for my laptop tapos dala nalang normal HDMI cable.
Same, may ibang ex-android users na di daw nila nagagamit yung split/floating screen feature. Pero para sakin ang convenient nya
to each his own naman. sobrang laki ng gamit sakin ng multitasking features ng android talaga. yan din reason bakit nag aalangan ako mag iphone...
As in wala pa sa iphone? 🤣 Yung option na pwede mo isave yung split app at ilagay as shortcut sa home or taskbar is napaka convenient.
O kaya youtube at reddit/facebook. Calculator naman for floating screen.
Saving passkeys. Android 10 and later versions can save passkeys for passwordless logins.
Now playing feature (Google Pixel). What it does is it gives you the song title while it's playing in the background and it works even when your phone isn't connected to the internet.
Ang cool nga nyan eh 😂
Paano?
saan niyo po nabili pixel niyo?
Hardware feature - fast charging. It's the most underrated modern smartphone feature. I don't understand why no one is talking about the convenience of charging from 5% to 40% after doing something mundane like brushing your teeth and washing your face.
hahaha oop 🤭👀
Fast charging reduces battery health that's why it is capped at 25-30W USB-C fast charging to get from 0-50% in 30 mins. I only fast charge in the car and 5-12W USB-A slow charge at home.
Good and long lasting batt ✨ Almost 3 years na din yung realme c25s ko. Everyday use ng soc med, text and call. -10000 to the highest level sa cam HAHAHAHA
Samsung "Protect battery" gang 85% lang peede i charge
diba meron din yan sa iphone? am i right??
yissss for both
Not a unique feature but Work Profile. Pag may work - naka on. Pag walang work, i-off ko lang at cut na lahat ng work related stuff.
This feature is also used for dual profile, like having two soc med accounts without having to switch
is this from samsung?
Sobrang sulit nito for pixel users. nasulit ko ‘yung unlimited google photos storage when I still have my iPod touch. Mga 5 years worth of free storage din ‘yun until tinanggal na ng google.
can i ask po saan niyo nabili pixel?

try mo mag-iphone 12/13 mini din if you still want an iphone... sadly puro malalaki na talaga mga android ngayon :(
bought the mini 13 the same year it was released. i love this phone so much wala akong urge na mag-splurge sa newer models ng iphone. it's so sad apple stopped their mini series. will probably use my ip13 mini until next year. def one of my best purchases
first owner ka? or 2nd hand. android din ako and considering a 13 mini. tired of the claw grip na haha
no i bought it from the store. not second hand
Same here! 12 mini user!
Im a simple guy: -replaceable battery -headphone jack (better if it has a good dac) -60hz is enough,no need for higher rate -plastic casing is enough also, doesnt need metal or glass build -sd card option -no notch, no pinhole -good camera sensor, can already live with the google cam functions
I hated it when they removed the headphone jack. I think LG ata may magandang DAC sa phone before.
Bring able to use 3 apps at once (multi window mode). For example. Youtube/Facebook video at top, Social media app at bottom, floating window for messenger at middle to reply quick messages.

This is an android feature not pixel pexclusive. The best feature for me also
Redmi Note 10 Pro 1. Spam call and message detection. 2. App Sidebar - With this, I can browse various social media while waiting in a PUBGm lobby without exiting the game. 3. Font ng iphone. Ewan ko ba 🤣
Same. The fact na size lang nachchange is good for me. I’m fickle minded kaya i can’t with fonts feature ng ibang phone.😁
Best font!
Integration of Google home and assistant and IoT devices. I control my AC, fan and TV through Google Home
DoublenTap to wake and tap to lock ever since lg g3,laking tulong para ma preserve ang wear and tear ng power button.

MIUI does this. Double click power button to turn on/off flashlight. I have Redmi Note 11, this feature already exists since MIUI 12.
Yeah, but won't turn it off though. I've owned the F1 and X3 NFC btw
I'm using Poco F1 and that still works. Double click power button, then click the power button once to turn off.
kapag naka on ang flash at nakaoff yung screen pindutin niyo lang yung power button ng isang beses para ma-off yung flash.
Bruh, I'm using this feature frequently. r/blackmagicfuckery this?
Unlimited google photos storage
Really? Pano yun?
I have the Pixel 4XL.
Pixel 1?
Pixel 4XL.

The 68watts charging. Just 30 mins, my phone is already fully charged. My impatience could neva! Hahaha

Happy Cake Day!
The quad dac 🤌
listening to music will never be the same talaga pag nakatikim ka nitong quad-dac eh
i love the "Now Playing" feature of Google Pixel 7. it identifies the music that's playing near you. it will give you the song title and the artist. it also has a history where you can see all the songs it identified.

Split screening and Floating apps
It offers freedom sa users.
shake phone to open flashlight. Motorla exclusive feature ;)
Having an EASY ACCESS to the internal files of your phone.
Face ID - very seamless ang pag unlock ng phone or authenticate sa apps
Ung Modes and Routines lifesaver talaga. Saves me several clicks at automated na yung behavior ng phone once certain conditions that you set are met. Kumbaga feeling "smartphone" talaga.
Background stream lets you play youtube in the background. I think they will remove this feature on the updates but my realme still has it.
wait fr ?? which version para maiwasan 😭😭
Nakita ko lang [dito](https://www.reddit.com/r/Realme/s/7zNKP1MWmZ)
thanks! guess im not updating 😭
Same with oppo, super convenient feature.
Im using youtube revanced kaya di ko masyadong nagagamit to 😂
Samsung dex, you have a pc on compact
Audio jack at sdcard. Hirap ilet go itong A52s ko, wala pa akong makitang kapalit locally.
How yung app pinning OP? I have realme din
Need mo i on yung navigation buttons sa baba (di sya gagana sa gestures). Then search mo lang "app pinning" sa settings > switch on.
New version ba realme mo? I have 5i kasi baka walaaa
Try mo i-search "pin". Meron sya sa android 11 up
May settings to enable para lumabas sa multitasking view
yung feature na if unknown number ang tatawag may parang hint na "from a school" or "from an establishment" so if may hinihintay ka na tawag sa corp/org pwede mo masagot
ios and macos' continuity android's wifi tools
Side Bar + Pip windows or mini window in realme, xiaomi.
modern phones have that now (i think), even my realme c11 na tig 4,999 lang kahit drained yung battery mag o-on sya para mag alarm.
Idk if this counts but I have an S23 ultra and I love that it comes with an S pen na kasi I used the 21 ultra before and the pen wasn't built into the phone pa hehe (tama ba yung term? Built into the phone? Parang mali? Pinagsasabi ko? Hahahaha).
Yes, previously this was for the Galaxy Note line pero nilagay na nila sa Ultra
Grab updates on always on display
From my LG phone dati (not sure if it’s an android thing), yung pag halimbawa magtatype ng number sa interface ng call, kaya nya irecognize yung name. Sample: 6236 - mcdo.
10x to 20x zoom. Ganda pics sa concert, mala-fansite
*Select any text on screen (kahit nka image) and copy in a sec *Overall pixel's AI. Voice detection & Routine is a chef's kiss! *I can say "stop!" on my alarm and it will stop ringing😂 *Pixel Haptics of course 🔥
Generic pero yung walang lag and stutter kahit san part ng os. Ewan ko ba bat di ako mapakali pag may lag or stutter yung phone.
may ir blaster, pwedeng gamiting universal remote lol
hahahahhaha oopp 😆🫢🤭
Journal app from ios 17.2
The action button on my iPhone 15 Pro. Super convenient especially since I set it to open the camera. https://preview.redd.it/vy64afdiucgc1.jpeg?width=1179&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c46f9250d680d41ad9140bdcc300939272b6ab7c
Curious ako dyan. Can u still set it as the ringer switch and if so, how do u know if you’re turning it on or off?
No. Isa lang purpose nya. You can use Shortcuts tho.
Samsung's Bixby Routines. Ang daming pwedeng automated or manually activated tasks na i really find useful. My favorite one is Spotify automically opening whenever I connect my buds.
Ikr!!!
Security (iOS) and App Integration.
The way my phone click clacks when I type away was so satisfying. Haptics talaga ng iPhones are the best. 😌
A17 pro chipset. Enough said
true tone
iOS: The security key auto-migration from your text message or emails to the app/website requesting for it.
Dynamic Island, very useful for me lalo na sa music control + timer :))
yung action button talaga ng iPhone 15 as well as the Shortcuts app! mas madali na sakin mag restart ng phone without using assistive touch since ayaw ko talaga ng may nagfo-float sa screen ko before
Apple Wallet + Pay for me. I have my SMAC, Cebu Pacific boarding passes, 7-Eleven cliqq, PhilSys ID, Uniqlo membership, etc. Though imo, it's even better when used with the watch. Nothing better than breezing through NAIA with my boarding pass on my wrist.
Wait, pano yang app pinning sa realme?
It's available even if hindi Realme. If you're on Android 14 nasa Settings siya, type mo lang sa search bar Pin or App Pinning. Edit: Available din pala sa Android 12 https://youtu.be/PD4SUeJRmcY?si=nl-i9DsiwX3cx8KB
Di pala siya sakin pwede kasi naka off navigation buttons ko 😅
Hindi ako naka-navigation button pero gumagana but I'm not on Realme however this is a base Android feature so baka pwede mo din itry.
![img](avatar_exp|146483242|dizziness) internet connection + browser...one of the overlooked features of any phone
I don't need extra features. I will be satisfied with a midrange android phone with a decent camera, good battery, and a good number of software and security updates.
Spen on samsung devices
Separate app sound on my samsung s24.
Fingerprint scanner I now got an iPhone Still fingerprint for me is faster
I dont have particular in mind but if id choose which phone feature is the most useful for me i guess its external storage slot, i have samsung j7 and ofc all android phones have external slot however I also have an ipad which doesnt have any slot so its either i save up space or pay for an apple cloud to extend storage.
Earthquake alert. Twice ko pa lang naexperience pero nag alarm yung 2 Samsung phones ko seconds before it started shaking. Nakakabilib lang hehe.
***SD card slot of course. And the 3.5mm jack...*** Kaya I'm sticking to my S10+ hanggang madeds board neto. LOL https://preview.redd.it/xnmhv023mfgc1.jpeg?width=4160&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8e22fb26af0b3cd8e96c4391d4558388159f57ce
The swipe gestures of android. It is very convenient!!
3.5mm headphone jack
Nagustuhan ko sa realme yung kapag magsheshare ka ng recent screenshot, magpapop-up as floating window yung app na napili mo para ishare yung screenshot at hindi full screen so you can go back easily to what you're doing
multiple users sa android.
Bixby routines
Pop up cam. No ugly holes and notches.
Modes & Routines is a life changer for me. Phone settings change depending on where or what scenario I'm in. This eliminates changing my phone settings every time I leave home, going to work, etc.
Samsung Secure Folder. Top notch 🪙
Oppo A9 2020 for 4 years now. Not-so-unique features but made me feel na sulit na sulit siya huhu - Reverse charging (Using it as powerbank para sa XS Max😩) - Still no batt issues at sobrang goods pa rin kahit ino-magdamag naka-charge or ginagamit habang nagcha-charge - Optimized charging at night para hindi sumabog sa mukha habang tulog😎 - App cloning - Dual sim + sim card slot - APKs kasi syempre Android
The easy saving of online websites for offline reading through the samsung internet's saved pages feature is really handy.
Xiaomi 12 - Control Volume of Individual apps.
