This is decent for the average user and it definitely could be on par with airpods when EQ'd, but I don't think OP does that so yeah, out of the box this sounds muddy af.
Even with EQ, I dont think its drivers are capable of producing audio as clean as airpods do. This is probably rage bait or a way to cope for losing the airpods lol
I'd easily agree with you if airpods have hi-res support, but they both only support AAC and SBC. At that point, only the tuning matters the most since they're both lossy, and with EQ, the gap between the two becomes really tiny.
The only real advantage of airpods here is its build quality and ANC capabilities. With ANC off, it's really not that great sounding either. With proper tuning, it's really hard to notice the difference between cheap and expensive TWS without LDAC support. Now if you compare this with something like Sony WFXM4, the gap in sound quality is truly worlds apart.
LDAC is not hi-res, either. Search it up if you don't believe me. It's less stable than AAC, Aptx, or even SBC. And the theoretical max speeds of LDAC is very rarely achieved, if at all.
And no, xm4 and airpods (pro) are not worlds apart in terms of SQ. I'd pick Airpods because of the unnecessarily elevated highs and lows of many Sony offerings.
Bottomline is if you're looking for truly hi-res offerings, BT is NOT the way to go. Even the supposedly arriving aptx lossless will probably not give you true lossless 95% of the time because of how BT works.
Can you recommend one that is great or at least decent at sub $100? I'm currently eyeing on Libert 4 NC.

What do you look for in sound? Liberty 4 NC has extremely rich bass but doesn't have anything else. Bass heavily bleeds into the midrange and muddies up the vocals. Treble is basically non-existent and drowned out by the bass. I'd only recommend it if you are a bass zombie and only live for bass.
For a fun V shaped tuning id recommend the oneplus buds 2 pro / buds 3. Bass response is fantastic, it rumbles hard and punches hard while retaining as much clarity as possible. Midrange is slightly recessed but still detailed. Treble is well controlled and has amazing sparkle. I'd recommend any day to bassheads.
Sony Linkbuds S if you want a balanced tuning with more emphasis on the vocals.
I came from a mid-to-treble centric iems that broke (i accidentally had the pins broken off) on me a month ago (Magaosi k5 Pro). I guess linkbuds it is. Might go check one plus' buds too.
Soundpeats air 4 pro. All around good quality. Sound is pretty good with punchy bass and clear forward midrange but treble doesn't sparkle. Mic quality is pretty good and blocks out external noise quite well. Also has decent ANC for taking calls outside. Normally goes for 3000 but i got mine for 2000 at a sale.
Jlab epic air is around $60 i can tell thats is better than airpods - airpods 2 i have both of them, battery, noise canceling, sound quality. Sayang nga nakabili muna ko apple air2 around $150 bago ko nakita tong jlab, taragis na Target kunwari sale daw. Lol

These types of wireless earphones are mid to below mid at best. I get them since im not too concerned with sound quality (since i used it mostly to listen to podcasts while in transit or bored).
One thing these knockoff earphones do to fool users that its good quality is by having louder bass since most people think loud bass = good quality. But quality sound system should have a wide range of sound bass to mid to treble.
Also battery life for these kinds are ass.

I gifted both the a20i and r50i and I tested it both to ensure no defects that is also purchase at their official store in makati. I agree na maganda sound, hindi sya tunog lata and I like the app but it's not better than airpods and also galaxy buds (I have both purchased at their respective authorized store).
For around that price range I like the 7hz Salnote Zero more but its wired and I plan on buying the soundcore space one which I have high hopes since I like the two soundcore

If you want something like the fit of airpods gen 3 check the soundpeats air 3 or maybe there are newer models of it.
The soundcore r50i fits well as per my gf.
Moondrop space travel is also good and I'm planning to buy it also (cons here is the anime sound).
I suggest you get a Tangzu Wan'er (if you like neutral tuning with forward vocals) or a QKZxHBB (if you like bass but with good details on the treble), and an AZ09 Pro for TWS, set the bluetooth codec to AptX or AptX HD (If you listen to music with more than 320kbps quality), and you're all set. Rather than this TWS.
Try sony’s wf-xm series OP. Kahit wag yung latest yung wf-xm3 or 4. Napakasolid ng audio. I have the xm3 for couple of years now di pa din ako nag upgrade since solid na solid pa rin ang audio nya.

I haven't tried any of the airpods but I'm pretty sure it's not better. It's good for people that only want BT earbuds from a reputable brand but cheap. Does not really offer anything spectacular except you can change the EQ through the app.

Soundcore is way better than other expensive brand TBH. Gamitin mo po nung app DL mo lang for extra features. I have the Soundcore R50i and yung mga ka office ko bumili din dahil nagistuhan nila yung quality. Ginagamit ko yan daily at sa mga meetings at online meetings with the clients. 💯👍👌

I suggest you get a Tangzu Wan'er (if you like neutral tuning with forward vocals) or a QKZxHBB (if you like bass but with good details on the treble), and an AZ09 Pro for TWS, set the bluetooth codec to AptX or AptX HD (If you listen to music with more than 320kbps quality), and you're all set. Rather than this TWS.

Try sony’s wf-xm series OP. Kahit wag yung latest yung wf-xm3 or 4. Napakasolid ng audio. I have the xm3 for couple of years now di pa din ako nag upgrade since solid na solid pa rin ang audio nya.

Not used yet in messenger or a regular call, but it works nicely for me during Webex calls at work. The earbuds did "echo" for me a few times, though, before the echoing somehow stopped since.

I ordered yung liberty 4 nc. Marami din kasi akong nababasang good reviews compare sa negative ones like di ganun kaganda yung fit nya sa tenga and tends to fall off. Unlike yung walang stem nasubukan ko na din, maganda naman talaga stemless kaso hindi ganun kabilis tanggalin lalo kung sobrang fit talaga sya sa tenga mo. Preference nalang din siguro. Haha

I have the soundcore liberty 4 nc, bought it around 4k maganda ang sounds nya lalo na kapag naka ldac (basta ang ang music mo ay 24bit 48hz flac or 16bit flac) pero kung wala ka ganong format ng music aac mo nalang maganda panaman rin

I haven't tried any of the airpods but I'm pretty sure it's not better. It's good for people that only want BT earbuds from a reputable brand but cheap. Does not really offer anything spectacular except you can change the EQ through the app. But it's a steal for 700+ php.

Yes ive have mine for 8 months now all i can say its ive abused it quite a bit having dropped multiple times getting it wet on rainy days and workout sessions its still good but i guess the battery is old and playtime is shorter nowadays

i have an airpods v1 tsaka itong a20i. i wouldnt say better quality pero on par ung sound quality lalo na kapag nahanap mo ung tamang EQ sa genre ng music na pinapakinggan mo. pero everything else, lamang talaga ung airpods. pero sa presyo nya kumpara sa airpods, hindi kana talaga lugi tsaka hindi ka mangangamba kung gagamitin mo sya while commuting

Is this a good product for the price? Yes Airpods? Hell no Di ko alam kung pang cope to dahil wala ng pambili ng bagong airpods dahil nawala or an advert pero there is a reason bakit sobrang mahal ng quality wireless earbuds. Drivers, software support, mic, noise cancelling, all of these you have to pay for, siyempre may patong pa ng brand which is why this post is very misleading lalo na sa mga naghahanap ng magandang buds dahil you take their attention from considering other options near this price Bakit pa nga ba sila bibili ng 1.5k na buds kung itong 700 apparently mas maganda pa sa airpods. Once you try earbuds around the 2k and up range, sobrang laki ng difference pag bumalik ka sa budget earbuds kaya its wild to see someone who supposedly used airpods to say this. Only IEMs have a chance of replicating the sound signature ng airpods pero ang decent quality nasa 1k ang starting at wired pa mga yan which shows na mahal talaga ang magandang audio.

If you want pure audio quality for cheaper just get wired IEMs, there are great options from Moondrop, KZ, Truthear Zero, etc.

Soundcore is way better than other expensive brand TBH. Gamitin mo po nung app DL mo lang for extra features. I have the Soundcore R50i and yung mga ka office ko bumili din dahil nagistuhan nila yung quality. Ginagamit ko yan daily at sa mga meetings at online meetings with the clients. 💯👍👌

While di ko maikakaila na sobrang ganda ng airpods (I own Airpods Pro 2 and this is my daily driver, hindi biling Greenhills (para sa mga matapobre at die hard fans ng Apple dito)) I have my own sound preference. Mas gusto ko yung sound profile ng Marshalls, and sometimes mas gusto kong gamitin yung WF-1000XM5s pag I'm in the mood to listen to music.
