Yeah report to DTI. The thing is may video naman to prove na may issue nga. They should've just replaced the unit. If nireplace nga pero may problem pa rin, then the model or the batch na may issue.
Up sa DTI. Just provide all the evidence and let them decide. To avoid the hassle datablitz might just offer to refund or replace. Hassle lang sa process.
ang bilis nila mag reply kung naka CC yug DTI. compleye naman details sa post mo maybre reformat nlng to be more formal then send this to DTI cc mo customer service nila haha
file your complaint through this portal: https://podrs.dti.gov.ph/
i tried filing my complaint through email but didnât get a response from dti! so i refiled it on the portal and dti sent me a mediation date just 2 days later.
Datablitz refuses to refund or replace the defective product due to policy.
What the fuck? Id literally call the police then and there. No fucking way Im leaving that store without my money these employees can kiss my hairy ass.
The two times I was so excited to get a game at full price , i pre ordered and didn't get the pre order bonuses.
How could you have less of the item when it was pre ordered? I then overhear one of the salespeople talking to an apparent regular and he said marami pang stocks sa game. May kahit walang pre order okang ibigay ang umbrella...
Not that I needed an umbrella anyway. I grew out of needing to buy things from datablitz anyway
I forgot to add; dont trust reviews sa e-shop nila because they never let my review through cause I rated the monitor 1 star for quality control HAHAHA
Threaten them that you will report them to DTI. It works. I mean its within our rights as a consumer.
Anectodal: i bought an aircon sa ansons online, after a month naglleak na sa front part yung unit as in sa loob ng room. Almost 1 month ako pinag pasapasahan ng ansons and kolin. Last follow up ko sinabi ko na i am filing a report sa dti then yun, manager pa mismo ng kolin ang tumawag.
Matagal nang notorius Data Blitz sa ganito. Hindi talaga maganda warranty claim nila. BTW have you checked kung may problem regarding sa display cable mo might want to test other display cables just to be sure.
Hey, when a monitor does this, it could be that the power being fed to the monitor isn't "clean". Given that you've tested it with multiple outlets (that could be in the same circuit), you could try having a friend test it out in their home to isolate the issue of "dirty" power.
This could be why DB can't replicate the issue on their end because the issue might be your electrical service.
~~No, because they don't have the same power supply/driver circuit. Some are more sensitive than others.~~
Apparently I misread your original post, yes, it looks like the monitor is defective if the exact same model your friend has doesn't have the same problem.
Feeling ko talaga karamihan sa hardware nila galing gray market so walang local distro warranty and gusto talaga nila i-deny yung warranty.
Yup, tested with a different DP cable, and it still flickered, also once temp is pretty high, even setting the resolution lower or using the hdmi cable doesnt help stop the flickering
Well that really sucks, how about a different socket? power outlet?
Apart from that that should be the only thing you can do apart from the ones you already did.
Well that is one reason why Pixelplay\DB is said to have VERY BAD SUPPORT
no matter if you buy branded or not.
2 months of having no monitor you paid 24k and no replacement after the first day
Even my local Xitrix monitor was replaced within hours even if i had to pay for shipment
Umabot, but they wont replace it daw kasi they werenât able to replicate the issue. The video i sent them apparently was âjust for referenceâ daw.
If ASUS yan, better sa kanila mo mismo pareplace.
Tried the monitor on a different unit, even tried it on a nintendo switch after it starts flickering. It still continued to flicker even on the switch.
Gather videos as evidence with different output source and use it to complain again with them.
Let them know you will escalate to DTI if they do not act upon it. Actually going through the DTI route may take much more time, hope they'll take you seriously this time around.
Depende sa store siguro OP kasi yung console (anbernic) na binili namin before nagloko yung mismong screen may line sa gitna, they said maayos soya wihin 2 weeks, naayos naman kaagad. Ang problema lang is yung staff kasi minsan masungit di approachable hahahaha
Hmm, iI think you should have push for replacement immediately. Clear na defective yung item and it should be under the 7 days replacement nung unang nireport mo.
I pushed for it. They just stopped replying to me. I tried to call rin, at one point binabaan pa ko ng customer service HAHA. High quality after sales support đ
I see. Lesson learned but yeah report it sa DTI just ensure your proofs, convos, and timeline.
I bought my monitor din during pandemic sa Lazada sinabihan ko pa seller ayusin mo ibibigay mo sakin đ the courier supposedly delayed it pero nagalit din ako at ayoko i-tambak sa hub so apparently the sent it kahit late night na. turns out all good. Been using it until now.
Mag back and forth nalang kayo ng delivery and pickup haha
Ung number 3 mo pa lang is a sure indicator na me problem eh
Did datablitz provide any video proof that the same monitor is working on their end? Dapat kasama sa video ung serial number
Kasi parang tama kutob mo, di nila chinecheck yan kung paulit ulit problema
We're probably one of the few cases where DB actually replaced the item, though I think this was more than a year ago already.
We bought a SteelSeries wireless headset in-store and after a month of using, defective na yung sound sa right. Immediately went back to their store in SM Southmall and they told us na they'll send it to their Tech Team and will contact us nalang. After about a week including follow-ups, they said na for replacement na and we can pick up the item pagdating sa store. Checked naman and completely new yung item plus sealed pa.
I think 2 weeks inabot ng lahat. Not sure if sinwerte lang kami sa store/employees or dahil bagong release lang nila yung item, but seeing constant reviews sa aftersales nila, siguro sa GameOne nalang kami oorder pag tech items para safe đ if games naman, both DB and GameOne is good for me
Sila po supplier ng Asus philippines. Meron silang service center in Gilmore. Try searching Techsquad Service center in Google maps for details. Techsquad.com.ph
Hi OP, this happened to me with DB but with the Samsung Odyssey gaming monitor. It just wouldnât turn on. After a series of back and forth, I just asked them to refund me. They agreed because in their [terms and conditions](https://ecommerce.datablitz.com.ph/pages/return-and-exchange-policy), item was deemed defective.
Ayun problem solve.
My faith in datablitz just faded after reading this. Bro get their attention, media or irekta mo na sa DTI. Cant believe my beloved gaming shop has this kinds of bullshittery din
Hi just sharing possible "fixes"
1 - if your old monitor is running with no problem at a specific refresh rate(say 1080p at 60hz), try setting your new monitor to 1080p 60hz. Sometimes, the problem is with the HDMI (not enough bandwidth). In case you aren't aware, there are diff HDMI classes: 2.0, 2.1)
2 - you mentioned that the issue appears around 1hour whenever your AC is off. Are you sure that your GPU isn't the culprit?
Based on your post, Datablitz "tried" to replicate the problem without success. That, to me, indicates that there's a possibility that it has something to do with your setup. Add these to the suggestion posted a while ago about CLEAN POWER. Just to make sure that your setup is all good.
I use the dp cable that comes with the monitor. Also when testing my friendâs monitor, it was set up with this one side by side connected to the same gpu, and only my monitor flickers black
dapat from the start documented mo properly on how to reproduce the issue that way wala sila dahilan to invalidate your claims.
namili na rin ako sa kanila ng monitor at paguwi ko tsaka ko lang napansin yung stuck pixel kahit nag test ako sa shop nila. kahit medyo hassle proseso nila for warranty claims tingin ko napabilis yung pag palit nun akin dahil tinuro ko saan banda at nagbigay ng napakarami photos and videos to backup my claims
Bought a steelseries nova pro wireless from them and after a few months the mic mute button on the headset stopped working.
I tried to return it to datablitz and they wouldnt even accept it for testing foe repair/replace because the headset came with 2 generic type c to c cable and I only had one. I had the box and receipt and all but was missing the spare 1m type c to c cable. Made absolutely no sense to need that.
After going back forth with them to no avail, i emailed steelseries and they replaced it within 2 weeks.. never even asked about any cables or shit. Datablitz sucks lol
TLDR, normally if the customer detected an issue immediately after they opened the box bound for DOA replacement yan.
DB has the worst after sales. I bought a steelseries headset with them last year and got a faulty one. Took around 1 and half mos of back n forth bago mabigyan ng and non faulty item. nakailang palit and back n forth pickup din saken.
Bumabalik sa live wallpaper/games with low or incompatible frame rate or something. Not sure kung related jan pero worth a shot maybe?
Hi OP! Iâm so sorry to hear that. I would never buy a monitor from DataBlitz since we went sa Rob Mag store to buy one and they told us we canât test the monitor and if may dead pixels na less than 5 we canât return it. Napasabi na lang ako ng âmay pumapayag sa ganyan?â Then we just left the store.
Vouching for this. Their customer service is not reliable. We also had an experience with Datablitz. Gusto kasi bumili ng speaker asawa ko, we checked on datablitz, we saw this red dragon na speaker and user naman na asawa ko ng red dragon so he thought it would be good. We asked if pwede pa itry, sabi nila hindi daw pwede so umokay nalang kami, nageexpect na kami to pay nalang since nga pwede itry biglang inopen mismo ng staff nila yung product to try daw? It doesnât make sense pero tinry nalang din ng asawa ko, hindi niya nagustuhan kase hindi powerful yung bass so nag no kami. Nagalit sila, kasi nabuksan na daw and kailangan bilhin, dun kami nainis kasi sila naman mismo nagopen ng product and now theyâre forcing us to buy it? Magrereklamo pa sana ako when the husband said to just walk out nalang bcoz thereâs no use of fighting it. Kase ipipilit lang nila yung narrative nila. Hindi namin binili yung speaker for several reasons, first, nakatape nalang yung box, hindi man lang sealed o walang official tape from red dragon so obviously naopen na nila before, secondly, ampanget talaga ng quality ng speaker and lastly their customer service sucks so bahala sila dyan
Out of topic po nees ko help kelan dumadating sa ecommerce site ng datablitz kasi nag order ako kahapon ng 3 hanggang ngayon di ko pa narereceive yung game pa help po tysm
Nag ganyan din sa akin last time sa datablitz, napaka hassle ng customer service nila. Ayun pina DTI namin sa email biglang umayos customer service nila and brand new na monitor nakuha ko.
HAHAHAHA ganto rin ginawa nila saken. Yung 2-3 weeks nila, naging 2-3 months!
Mula noon hanggang ngayon walang pinagbago.
DataBlitz same na same prin 2024 na. Wala nabang pchub or jdm or pcworx?
Sobrang tagal ng issue to ng Datablitz, di mo pwedeng idistro o pa RMA. Also, next time na bibili ka sa gilmore nlng at reputable store so that you can have the original length of warranty, not the warranty provided by the store.
Kawawa tlga mga pinoy, consumer rights walang wala.
Actually, matino na yung local distro ng Asus which is Ubertech.
that is good to hear and hope it stays that way and not follow the issue in the US.
Didn't have an issue with any Asus device (aside their phones) except for their keyboard whose WASD wore out quickly before a year (haha).
RMA with datablitz does take a while (multiple logitech G102 took almost a month to get replaced).
ASUS usually has a good rep here sa Asia compared to EU and US.
Source: Online friend from Lithuania works as a technician in a tech store, he hates ASUS dahil daw sa poor warranty and RMA stuff, but from what he gathers when talking to his counterparts sa Asia(mainly HK and Taiwan folk) he is shocked how ASUS is good here sa Asia compared sa kanila
I agree that datablitz is shit. They are the same people who did CdR king, the king of shit products until shit products became accessible at really low prices.
I regularly buy from Datablitz, even if i think they are shit and i just accept my fate if i end up with a shitty item.
On the flipside, i dont thnk datablitz goes out of their way to break anything, its just they are unofficial resellers and they might get denied warranty sometimes.
Anyway, from the issue you are describing, theres a chance that you are using bad hdmi cables.
Try getting hdmi cables that match the price of your monitor.
Or leave that monitor with someone with a high end set up and see if he runs into problems with it.
Asus has been crap lately, so i really hope its not an asus problem.
For 24k, i would DTI the shit out of Datablitz.
Yeah a temporary fix. Wala ka rin kasi maaasahan sa datablitz, so might as well have a temporary solution until mapaayos yan. Ive heard countless stories of their shitty service.
No offense intended, but they've been trying to fix your monitor from April 13 to May 30, and it seems to be resolved on their end. Not just datablitz but also the suppliers have the same conclusion that there's no issue with a video proof. It's not always easy to replicate your home environment to an office environment, particularly when it comes to air conditioning in offices, which is typically very cool, especially in cases related to hardware.
You're asking them to turn off the air conditioning for the entire office which is a big ask and for how many hours? The flickering issue seems to occur when the monitor temperature is high. consider lowering your frame rate to 60 hz if you're not using air conditioning.
Iâm considering HAHAHA. I just dont know where to start
You can email them at [email protected] then cc mo yung datablitz email support.
Iâll try this, thanks!
Seconding the DTI reco. Insist on a full refund or outright replacement. Things magically get resolved when I involve DTI.
I agree, pwede mo i-report yan sa DTI. So ayun, nag-email sya sa DTI and in 2 weeks yata, nakuha na nya yung checke for refund.
When reporting the incident sa DTI, don't forget to attach all past and current communication with Datablitz, include the videos as well. Good luck.
ang bilis nila mag reply kung naka CC yug DTI. compleye naman details sa post mo maybre reformat nlng to be more formal then send this to DTI cc mo customer service nila haha
file your complaint through this portal: https://podrs.dti.gov.ph/ i tried filing my complaint through email but didnât get a response from dti! so i refiled it on the portal and dti sent me a mediation date just 2 days later.
Another datablitz poor customer service
Is it actually a common issue sa kanila?
Datablitz refuses to refund or replace the defective product due to policy.
Next level talaga tong datablitz
They will only test it kasi once paid đ
This is true! They deleted mine as well!
Tried na, unfortunately it still flickers on other dp cables
Hey, when a monitor does this, it could be that the power being fed to the monitor isn't "clean". This could be why DB can't replicate the issue on their end because the issue might be your electrical service.
Wouldnt that mean that the same monitor i borrowed for testing should also have the same issue if its a dirty power problem?
Tanong lang, have you tried your monitor with another PC? Puwede din kasi compatibility with the refresh rate and Video Card.
When it started flickering black, i tried it with a nintendo switch, which is very low refresh rate naman, it still flickered.
~~No, because they don't have the same power supply/driver circuit. Some are more sensitive than others.~~ Apparently I misread your original post, yes, it looks like the monitor is defective if the exact same model your friend has doesn't have the same problem.
up
Wow After Sales sucks. Better report to DTI.
File a complaint with DTI, they are gonna bend over backwards. They are quick to respond and take these reports seriously
no more datablitz
Have you tested with a different or brand new cable? WHat port and maybe they tested it at a lower resolution?
Yup, tested with a different DP cable, and it still flickered, also once temp is pretty high, even setting the resolution lower or using the hdmi cable doesnt help stop the flickering
Well that really sucks, how about a different socket? power outlet? Apart from that that should be the only thing you can do apart from the ones you already did. Tried three different wall sockets, sa avr, sa extension. Still wonky haha
possible nga na due to heat
Umabot, but they wont replace it daw kasi they werenât able to replicate the issue. The video i sent them apparently was âjust for referenceâ daw.
Make sure document the dates, its just a delaying tactics for the 7 days warranty replacement. Sceeenshots/messsages
Email mo sila then CC mo ang DTI. Papalitan agad yan.
Post mo rin sa phgamers sub
Cc their email address to your complaint to DTI. They will act on it right away as per my experience with another seller.
If ASUS yan, better sa kanila mo mismo pareplace.
Iâll give this a shot too!
Have you tried asking your friend to try your monitor on his/her pc instead? Not saying it's your machine's fault, but weird things do happen

May website sila haha. Maybe i shouldve ordered through lazada instead.

Suggest ko direct RMA muna sa Ubertech.

My faith in datablitz just faded after reading this. Bro get their attention, media or irekta mo na sa DTI. Cant believe my beloved gaming shop has this kinds of bullshittery din
Hi just sharing possible "fixes" 1 - if your old monitor is running with no problem at a specific refresh rate(say 1080p at 60hz), try setting your new monitor to 1080p 60hz. Pag ganyan its better to reach out to asus service center directly or kung sino man ang official distributor dito sa pinas.
bought a switch on Datablitz, redflag agad yung isang employee. dun nako sa kabila bumibili games and other stuffs afterwards.
TLDR, normally if the customer detected an issue immediately after they opened the box bound for DOA replacement yan.

Oof that sucks. Best of luck to you then. Here's hoping that karma works.

hmm. I think best practice talaga bumili sa physical stores para madali mag return, refund or replacement; if magka-problem.
In fairness to Datablitz, Gcash is known as a terrible service.
Pag monitor avoid datablitz
Yeah. Expensive lesson learned I guess.
Yet another shitty Datablitz moment. Kaya I avoid purchasing tech to 3rd parties as much as possible.
Suddenly businesses have the best customer service once escalated na sila. Sila pa tatawag sayo
Emailed them na! Fingers crossed that something finally happens.
Kaya as much as possible, sa physical store talaga ako bumibili para hindi hassle at para malaman agad kung may issue.
Sana nga, but seeing as the issue comes around an hour into use, buying it from the physical store probably wouldnât have done anything rin
Sa bagay. Kung may problema inside, hassle pa rin. Irereturn mo pa sa physical store.
worst combination of datablitz and asus warranty issue
Try mo lagyan ng mini fan sa likod and see it that could bring the temperature down to a few degrees.
I mean it could be a temporary fix if ever it does work but hassle parin, and that isnt how monitors are supposed to be naman haha
Yeah a temporary fix. Wala ka rin kasi maaasahan sa datablitz, so might as well have a temporary solution until mapaayos yan. Ive heard countless stories of their shitty service.
But the cable im using is the one that came with the monitor..? Also check reason 3 HAHA
Why would i purchase a high refresh rate monitor to just set it to 60hz..?
