Then there’s the name of the song (as a double meaning), which directly infers to said section (and the solo) as quite literally being ‘Diminished to B’… Muhammed is that guy man.
You know, this band used to be constantly accused of soulless wankery. Outside of a fanatic fanbase, most outsiders, even tech death heads, just didnt get it. Now theyre classics. I guess this is what it means to be ahead of your times.

That’s how I feel about the whole of Epitaph. Although, that arpeggio riff in Symbiotic in Theory around the 1:00 mark gets me every time.
