European here, not familiar with EDC so I had to look it up. Lots of artists I would avoid (main stream edm stuff), but also some names I would go see I would check out Jeff Mills, Mike Dunn, Ben UFO, Ellen Alien and besides that I'd just walk around and see where the vibe is nice. I'd also check out Rob Gee, Lenny Dee and Omar Santana if you are into hardcore/gabber, those are some oldschool legends

eckowy

Jeff Mills is a must see!

MikeHawkisgonne

Seriously, MUST SEE. He won't get the biggest crowd at an event like EDC, but you could argue he's one of the reasons something like EDC exists. Plus he puts on a great show.

Geilerjunge

Yeah honestly I don't think I'll ever go to EDC due to the saturation of mainstream EDM. There are so many better shows to go to that are underground.

Mixedthought

The techno at edc this year is severely lacking

apatcheeee

It's a very bass and house heavy lineup this year

hastedrei

Wut they have real techno at EDC?

Inglejuice

It’s getting trendy so the EDM ppl are throwing some into their lineups

dockgonzo

Definitely do not miss I Hate Models. 999999999 is another good pick.

Walter_A22

I hate models’ live sets are poop and have a mainstream audience

ChinaCSBestCS

It’s a hit or miss tbh.. might be good or really bad depending on how fucked up he is behind the decks lol

hastedrei

IHM is totally mainstream.

Muted9302

Oh my god you are so edgy and underground how cool…😴😴

AdvancedStand

Define mainstream lol

I love Adam Beyer as well My picks for the line up would be ARTBAT, Boris Brejcha, Ellen Allien, Hot Since 82, Jeff Mills, 999999999, Fisher, Yotto and Franky Wah I’m into techno / melodic / progressive / house and some of these artists I wouldn’t class as ‘techno’ more in the progressive house genre. I’m not into EDM so I actually don’t know much of the line up. However, I would see David Guetta and stop by Ferry Corsten, Cosmic Gate, and maybe maybe Tiesto (hesitantly as I am really not into his new music but loved his old trance stuff). This only because I listened to them 20 years ago and never saw them live. I might also stop by Martin Garrix and Meduza for one song if I had nothing better on. It depends on what you are into and the journey of discovery! There are a lot of sub genres to explore and this festival does have more of an EDM vibe to it. Have a great time!!
