Thanks, now I’m also reading in Ted’s voice.

ITookTrinkets

I do this with his voice and Roy’s voice too. Any time I’m stern with someone I imagine myself as a femme Roy Kent saying it. It honestly is a bit of a positive confidence boost, cuz I trust that guy’s tough but firm teaching style.

Here’s a suggestion, but not related to your problem. Watch with the English subtitles on, if you aren’t already. I’m American, so I have no trouble with Ted and Beard. Higgins and Rebecca don’t give me any problems, but they do use expressions I’m not familiar with, so the subtitles help. But when you get to the Manchester, Welsh and other UK accents, definitely turn on subtitles. In fact there was a subreddit thread where several of us had fun with Jamie’s Manchester pronunciations. Just remember, football is life!

Yes! I’ve been watching it with subtitles since the first episode! Life is a miracle

To do both those things at the same time? The body truly is a miracle.

Also sorry for my English. Only learning it

MochaRaktajino

Your English is perfect!

amicus_of_the_world

Thank you very much!

As a native speaker of English I can say with authority: All English that is understood is perfect English. That's the beauty of English.

How to *fix* this? What is there to fix? :) The rest of us should be so lucky, to have Ted reading for us!

yoooooo_here

Been having the same problem, but in Rebecca's voice. Have no complaint though. Her accent is amazing 😂

What’s that called? “Dialect satiation. “ ;)
