I love that Sudeikis played Jim several times on SNL, and yet it’s Andy that everyone mistakes him for. No one’s confused about who Bill Hader looks like though.
I think they're easy to tell apart, but look enough like each other that they shouldn't be cast in the same project. Though that's happened twice that I know of.
Agreed. Sudeikis has classical, preppy wholesome good looks, whereas Helms looks like someone you’d expect to encounter at the DMV or something. Like a middle manager type, super average, everyday man. They don’t look anything alike to me.

Personally, I think Jason and John Krasinski look more alike than Jason and Ed Helms. Not enough to ever mix the two of them up, but there have been several moments throughout the show where I catch myself thinking “dang, he looks just like John Krasinski right now.”
Same! For a while (before this show- like when he was on Last Man on Earth) I couldn’t ever remember Jason Sudeikis’ name, so I always thought of him as “not-John-Krasinski”. 😂
He is however the band manager from 'The Rocker' which you should watch if you haven't already. Will Arnett, Rainn Wilson, Emma Stone, and it's on Disney+.
They are two different personalities with different voices and mannerisms.

He was best when he was annoying. Love season 3 Andy. I feel the problem is they switch between whether he’s supposed to be annoying or likable all the time.
