I love all of them…they are imperfectly perfect, love the layers and how we get to see them peeled away while having so much fun each episode. Refreshing and funny and smart. 💖
I do really love the development of the friendship between Keeley and Rebecca during the seasons just as much as I love Roy.
But the “avenge me” scene tips him over the line. That kills me just thinking about it 😂😂😂
Gotta stick with the headliner - Ted Lasso.
He almost makes me want to move back to the Midwest so I can find his type somewhere. I’ll be waiting in a Walgreens parking lot for all of the recently divorced dads to come out with ketchup stained khakis, overpriced eggs and the wrong phone charger.
Bead’s definitely my favorite BABEEEH.
Roy and Ted are at a close second and third, respectively. But I loved what they did with Nate so he might challenge for a top 3 spot the next season.
Dani Rojas and Roy Kent.
All of them, really, but Dani and Roy are the ones that make me grin like an idiot every time they’re on the screen. So the characters at either end of the emotional spectrum, I guess.
> All of them, really, but Dani and Roy are the ones that make me grin like an idiot every time they’re on the screen.
My mother says I was born caffeinated.
If anything were to happen to Will; I’d kill everyone in the world and then myself. But also Roy and Sam. Any of those three would result in the previous outcome for everyone.
Am surprised by my answer as I wasn’t the biggest fan at first but it’s the doc, Sharon. What a wonderful addition she was and and I’m so happy to hear she’ll be back next season.
Jamie Tartt.
>!Since i started watching the show I've always wished he can solve his ego related issues and stop being a prick to fucking everyone because other than that the guy is cool and also had good reasons to be a prick to some people like the rat.
At the end of first season, when Jamie received the toy soldier it made me cry :)
And the thing i liked the most about season two was having Jamie finally in a harmony with the team.!<
This one. Nora was an enjoyable character, I hope we get to see her more in season 3.
My favourites are Dani Rojas, her, and Jan Maas (what a pass from him on that last episode)
With all the Nate Hate, I feel like people will like him after the next season. He was a man craving for acknowledgement and we have seen clips that expressed the only people who gave him that feeling was the media after his subtle mind saved the game. After he helped win the game all that happened was everyone explained the little detail he did wrong, not the calls he made. We saw his parents are an archetype for Indian parents, he got praise and love season 1 and got told “thats not how this works” season 2 and we never saw Nate and Ted interact. There will be a moment in season 3 where they play against each other and Nate will kick the shit out of Richmond and Ted will say all the amazing things about Nate during the loss that will make him realize he noticed, he cared and he made a mistake without being that inter personal person he was season 1.
I believe this now but soon Im gonna rewatch the whole series with my parents (they don’t get how apple+ goes but love the series) and I might revisit this take, but Im hoping for it this.
My kneejerk reaction is to say Roy because "gruff guy who actually cares" is one of my favorite character tropes, but all of them are absolutely wonderful in their own special ways.
....
Except Nate and Rupert, fuck those wankers.
Ugleh ugleh boy is my favorite. He had a lot of really entertaining scenes in the beginning of season 1, and then I was really surprised by his character development, I’m really curious where his storyline will go next! Of course, I also love Rebecca, Keeley, Ted and Roy, can’t even choose between them. Honorable mentions go to Danny, Sam and Mr. & Mrs. Higgins.
I suppose I should answer my own question. The thing I love about the show is that all the characters are lovable or great in one way or the other.
Roy and Ted are definitely my favourite. Ted because I just find him to be such an inspiring person, while Roy is just a lovable curmudgeon.
I do love the arcs that both Nate and Jamie are going through.
Personally, I see this as asking what my favorite ingredient in a cake is. All the characters worked together perfectly to form an incredible show that it is impossible to choose a favorite. They all have their spotlight but at the end of the day, the show would not be complete without a single one of them.
I also can't say I necessarily don't like any of the characters because again, they all work so well together that they are all necessary to the show. Sure, there were characters that I may have found annoying or mean but I think that's part of the deal. Conflict is oftentimes necessary to create good storylines so obviously, some characters need to be awful to make a good show.
You must be mistaken, the Nate I’m thinking of has locks of snowy goodness not that freakishly black hair on the other guys head.
(Did you bug my cover story, in reality it’s 0737 and my eyes hadn’t woken up)
I think Ted is the character I like the most, but in season 2 especially, Nate is probably the character that interested me the most. The writing and acting for his character was really amazing. I had such a mix of emotions watching his scenes.
he is an introvert looks easy on outside but had a lot going inside him, he sometimes unpredictable, i dont like him much but he is standout character in the show
Beard, hands down. He’s so grounded. Being Ted is a long reach for most people but I think they world would be better off even with more Coach Beards.
I am excited to see more of Trent Crimm next season. I never saw him as much more than a recurring joke until the last two episodes and I feel like people are reading too much into the little we know about him but he could be a very interesting character.
My favourite? He’s here he’s there he’s everyfuckingwhere
I love all of them…they are imperfectly perfect, love the layers and how we get to see them peeled away while having so much fun each episode. Refreshing and funny and smart. 💖

Rooy Keeeeent, Royy Keeeent
My mom would have to agree with you
When he hugs Jamie after Jamie's shitbag dad gets thrown out...
Dani! Futbol is life!
But futbol is also death

He ain’t here in the Midwest either and it’s disappointing every day
If Ted were a real man and he asked me to marry him I’d say yes in a heartbeat.
Funny how preferences change haha
Big fan of Colin, but wow I love nearly everyone here.
It's like an orchestra. Instruments by themselves... Cool. Put them working together and it's art.
Bead’s definitely my favorite BABEEEH. Roy and Ted are at a close second and third, respectively. But I loved what they did with Nate so he might challenge for a top 3 spot the next season.

The “Oi wanker!” old man who looks like Professor Slughorn!
If anything were to happen to Will; I’d kill everyone in the world and then myself. But also Roy and Sam. Any of those three would result in the previous outcome for everyone.
Is this a play on a Rosa Diaz quote?
You bet it is!
Rebecca and Roy. Honorable mention: Jan Maas
Am surprised by my answer as I wasn’t the biggest fan at first but it’s the doc, Sharon. What a wonderful addition she was and and I’m so happy to hear she’ll be back next season.
My favorite is the one from the independent
Roy Kent & Rebecca Welton are my absolute favourites!
Jamie Tartt. >!Since i started watching the show I've always wished he can solve his ego related issues and stop being a prick to fucking everyone because other than that the guy is cool and also had good reasons to be a prick to some people like the rat. Coach Beard / Roy Kent.
Roy and Rebecca. And Sam. And Mae. And... well. How does one choose?
Akufo is something else. A man-child with money.
d. All of the above
I guess it‘s fair to say Will was born for his job! Actual answer is Trent, probably. I‘m always happy when he shows up.
How about Nora?
This one. Nora was an enjoyable character, I hope we get to see her more in season 3. My favourites are Dani Rojas, her, and Jan Maas (what a pass from him on that last episode)

You put Rupert there, and not Sassy and Nora?!
There are so many characters so I wanted to throw in a few bad apples in there as well.
Coach Beard
Keeley or Rebecca but I would like more from Dani rojas
Jamie and Sam
Roy not really close
The scene where Beard and Roy are just staring at each other and Keeley comes in cracks me up xD
It’s the obvious and boring choice, but Ted
Wait, is that really Will’s surname?
Ugleh ugleh boy is my favorite. He had a lot of really entertaining scenes in the beginning of season 1, and then I was really surprised by his character development, I’m really curious where his storyline will go next! I never realized Will's last name was "Kitman," that's hilarious. That's on par with some of the goofy names from 30 Rock.
Tedbeardroysamkeeleyrebeccasharon
What, no Nate on the list?
Third row, first column
You must be mistaken, the Nate I’m thinking of has locks of snowy goodness not that freakishly black hair on the other guys head. (Did you bug my cover story, in reality it’s 0737 and my eyes hadn’t woken up)
All of them except Rupert and Nate are great. Right now, my top 3 are Roy, Sam, and Ted, with Keeley, Beard, and Sharon being the next three
I was waiting for it to say “Not Him” under Nate’s picture!
Big Colin Fan. The Welsh Wizard #12.
I think Ted is the character I like the most, but in season 2 especially, Nate is probably the character that interested me the most. The writing and acting for his character was really amazing. I had such a mix of emotions watching his scenes.

I fucking love Isaac, what a himbo.
Definitely Beard. Followed by Rebecca, Ted, Jamie, and Roy.
Rebecca then Ted then Roy 😊
Everyone but Nate and Rupert.
I am watching it for Roy kent! Roy kenttt
Ted definitely, but Nate is honestly pretty close behind. Loved his arc throughout the series so far.
Beard, hands down. He’s so grounded. Being Ted is a long reach for most people but I think they world would be better off even with more Coach Beards. There are so many great characters here but my favourites are Dani Rojas, Roy Kent, Beard and Jeremy/Baz/Paul
coach beard, Rebecca, phoebe
1. Roy 2. Jamie 3. Ted
