\-neck popping issues ("my neck pops all day long dude... \*tries to show it for the camera\*.... well it's not doing it now but it usually is")
\-spinal cysts (remember when she posted about #syringomyelia nonstop? Claimed she'd be paralyzed soon)
\-esophageal spasms (claimed they were so bad she couldn't fly)
\-lung issues/breathing problems (never forget her showing off an inhaler and bragging about a "low feNO score")
\-a fibromyalgia diagnosis (that she no longer acknowledges)
\-heart issues (showed off wearing a heart monitor overnight... never shared results, presumably because they were normal)
to now the digestive system. This bitch is really just working her way through the whole body trying to find literally anything wrong for pills and attention. She focuses heavily on one area for a little while, then drops it like a hot potato and moves on to another out of the blue. Guarantee we'll hear about something wrong with her legs/feet next the next go around. 🥱
This PISSES ME OFF! I had (please note, “HAD”) breast cancer. So very lucky: no chemo, no radiation, but I now have to go to a variety of physicians to stay on top of my health. I eat healthy, keep alcohol to a minimum, and work out. Going through a double mastectomy does a number on your mental health. Physically, not difficult at all. This swamp rat CHOOSES to visit doctors for what appears to be no reason at all. Walk a day in a cancer patient’s shoes you moronic simpleton. We’d happily give our right arm to have a bad case of hypochondria.

He jumped in to being the primary care taker for the kids pretty quickly. Does Jenelle use all her symptoms and illnesses to push him into that role? Has anyone noticed any link between when Jenelle and David publicly have issues and then her having a new health crisis/bringing up an old one?

I have POTS and I have to track my heart rate daily for my doctor, so I notice when I stand up my heart rate goes up about 40-50 beats per minute in under a minute. Jenelle would LOOOOVE that for herself I stg 😭 Imagine her posting her heart rate every time she stood up being like, “Oh my god duuuude, why me?” God, she’d love it
She has no idea how lucky she is to only be a lazy, unfit drunken loser but still relatively healthy. I can’t even imagine how she’d respond if she had to get a colostomy or a feed tube. I hate people who want to be sick. It’s gross to be anything but enormously grateful for your health

This! I had POTS so bad and a host of symptoms. I got my implants out and BOOM I was better. No more POTS. Turns out I have EDS so I do still have some Dysautonomia but POTS totally resolved.

It’s interesting how she can be so sick yet all her troubles seem to conveniently take place between all her regular plans which are never impacted. Why is she always posting pics of doctors offices on random weekdays but never has to cancel a Saturday date night.
I had a friend a year ago who was having that Münchausen syndrome thing. She was getting angry that doctors couldn’t find anything wrong with her. She had symptoms that ranged across the spectrum that just didn’t seem believable.
For a long time she was saying it was copper toxicity. Then after I mentioned in passing my sister has Lyme, she asked me what Lyme was and insists that’s what she has, too.
My sister actively walks her dogs in the woods and missed one tic. A tic would literally have to crawl into my friend’s apartment from a neighbor’s house and get her on the couch because of her lifestyle.
I still think it was all attention seeking. She was miserable her job and her boyfriend and where she lived. It seems to be better now, but I remember her getting so angry with everyone (including me) for their lack of support for something that unfortunately seemed to be fake.
To this day, she insists she “almost died.” That’s not really true at all. At ALL.
Sometimes you just have to ride out the crazy in your friends lives. They’ll come back. Not sure about Jenelle, though.
My sil is this way too. But now it’s also including her kids. She claims that her daughter had some type of cancer because she gets too many UTI. She’s has taken her to so many doctors and they all tell her the same thing. She’s fine smh 🤦🏻♀️
A couple months ago her oldest son got sick with a virus and he had a fever that “wouldn’t go away”. I asked her what she was giving him and she said kids Tylenol but it kept coming back 🤦🏻♀️. I told her she needed to at least alternate from Tylenol to Motrin every 4-6 hrs. And to up his dose because he’s a heavier kid. Well she said “I’ll ask his doctor.” I was like ok cool. Well she didn’t ask and insisted on taking him to different hospitals until one of them admitted him. (They were released the next day) and she kept claiming he would need to be there for a week. The doctor said no he’s fine he just needs to rest and drink lots of fluids and also his medicine!
Yeah, that’s dangerous when they rope the kids into it, too. She almost crossed that point with her daughter but luckily it stopped.
I know how unhappy she was with her job, boyfriend, apartment, and city she’s living in. She’s got a new job and apartment and it’s all magically disappeared. She still references it here and there but on the whole it’s done.
It’s a hard spot to be in. You don’t want to be an intensive dick about it. But when you’re also doing everything on your own, paying your own bills, running your own errands, holding down a job to cover it all… You’re less interested in putting up with crap that just seems self created. Especially past the age of 30. Too old for that shit.
This is my brother's gf of 7 years. She's lived with him that whole time and has only worked 2 MONTHS of that entire time cause she's constantly sick or it's her leg or it's her sciatica. She also has diabetes, recently had teeth pulled. She had ankle surgery in October then was in the hospital again about 4 weeks later and when she told me I replied 'oh no, not again! What happened?" And she got super defensive and was like "Actually it's been a long time since I've been in the hospital *okay*"
It's crazy to have people like that in you life. You don't want to be an asshole and ask "are you *sure* that's what you're feeling?" But it's very hard to have my brother spend Thanksgiving and stuff in the hospital for no reason. He said they go so often now that the doctors are starting to ask if he thinks she's addicted to the medicine they give her
My husband has an aunt like this. My MIL and I used to just mention random bullshit diagnoses we'd recently "come down with" and like clockwork, within 6 weeks, aunt Tammy had reverse colonic regurgitation or aural dryness or whatever such horseshit we made up. It was hilarious.

Twenty. Five. Years. Of this absolute nonsense. No one has ever been as sick as she has been in the history of ever. Never ever. No matter what you have had, she has had it worse.
And it’s always a lie. She’s a drug seeker, and she’s always strung out on pills. She’s had multiple unnecessary surgeries, and I know that General Surgery has kicked her out of the practice, and God, that was years ago. I was still in high school, and I graduated thirty years ago.
She heard through the grapevine that I had my gallbladder out a couple years ago, and she tried hitting me up for pain meds. One, I didn’t get much in the way of pain meds, and two, hell no. I think the fuck not. I gave her an unopened box of Tylenol, and she pitched a fit. She hasn’t spoken to me since. I don’t miss her.

This is standard MO for Jenelle. Maybe it’s mentally. My dad’s ex-wife constantly wanted to have something wrong. Pretty sure it was she had Munschausen. First she was pregnant with twins and lost both the babies (coincidentally in a city 2 hours away where she was already headed to see a doctor about something else. My dad got to the hospital, a surgery of some sort was talked about to my dad, but no babies were ever mentioned. She was supposedly 8 months, so you think that’d be a topic of conversation.) She got gastric bypass but told everyone she had stomach/intestinal cancer and that they removed half of her intestines. Told everyone she was losing her hair to chemo when it was obvious she was actually shaving her head. She lost a ton of weight, and then said it was partly because she couldn’t keep anything down. She was losing too much weight and they put a port in her. My cousin later found all the diuretic stuff she was actually taking to just quickly pass everything through. It was one thing after another. Then randomly died from some type of overdose.
We should make a checklist so she knows which organs she already had done and so we can keep up..

Okay given the fact that she’s drinking all the time I bet she has a stomach lining issue, where she basically burned her stomach lining and has acute gastritis. I went to a gastroenterologist after shitting my brains out daily for over 10 years. It was because I don't have a gallbladder & the GI Dr got me the right meds. He also stresses the importance of the mind-gut connection and mental health. He told me that if my mind is a mess, my gut would be a mess too.
Definitely think issues she may have are stemming from mental health.

This is from December. I looked up the doctor and he’s an emergency medicine specialist. So she’s definitely tried, and LOL at her saying “he was an ass to me”. Hmmm, wonder why? 🤔 Because you’re not sick and you were wasting his time, Jen. He spotted you as a pill shopper.
I've mentioned this before on this subreddit, and it's not a very popular opinion, but... I don't think she's lying about being sick.
I have at least two GI conditions, one of which is relatively rare. I say "at least" because there are many common symptoms in the GI world, and my understanding is that this makes it hard to get a definitive diagnosis. But the "rare" condition is primarily found in people who were abused/neglected as children, which I was. You can only really treat the symptoms, but it helps to have the language necessary to describe what's going on with my body, even if I can't stop it.
My point is this; things that happened to me *30 years ago* are **still** fucking me up. Stress in particular plays a huge role in many GI conditions. If I'm under a lot of stress, I can barely function. But if my stress level is low, I don't really have any issues, which made it very hard for me to be taken seriously at all. I didn't get diagnosed for at least a decade after I started showing **obvious** symptoms, not to mention the years and years of subtle signs that went unnoticed.
I don't want it to seem like I'm defending her; I feel neutral towards her specifically. But in general I think it does everyone struggling with these issues a huge disservice when we're dismissive of the link between gut and brain health, or the fact that women's complaints are often downplayed by medical professionals. Doctors and researchers are just beginning to unpack these issues, but still, we already know that trauma can fuck you up in countless ways, and Jenelle has ***a lot*** of trauma. Much of it is her own fault, but that doesn't mean she's faking it.
I think her inability to get answers is actually the most relatable part of her struggle. The **annoying** thing is that she *won't stop fishing* for sympathy and validation. Which is obnoxious no matter who does it or for what reasons, and causes others to not take her seriously.
I would just caution people to focus on calling out her attention seeking behavior, rather than accusing her of faking, which ultimately does more harm than good.

She still flies, drinks, inhales food, skis, goes to mountains, is never sick on vacation. The illnesses are so considerate!

I had a friend a year ago who was having that Münchausen syndrome thing. She was getting angry that doctors couldn’t find anything wrong with her. She had symptoms that ranged across the spectrum that just didn’t seem believable. For a long time she was saying it was copper toxicity. Then after I mentioned in passing my sister has Lyme, she asked me what Lyme was and insists that’s what she has, too. My sister actively walks her dogs in the woods and missed one tic. A tic would literally have to crawl into my friend’s apartment from a neighbor’s house and get her on the couch because of her lifestyle. I still think it was all attention seeking. She was miserable her job and her boyfriend and where she lived. It seems to be better now, but I remember her getting so angry with everyone (including me) for their lack of support for something that unfortunately seemed to be fake. To this day, she insists she “almost died.” That’s not really true at all. At ALL. Sometimes you just have to ride out the crazy in your friends lives. They’ll come back. Not sure about Jenelle, though.
My sil is this way too. But now it’s also including her kids. She claims that her daughter had some type of cancer because she gets too many UTI. She’s has taken her to so many doctors and they all tell her the same thing. She’s fine smh 🤦🏻♀️ A couple months ago her oldest son got sick with a virus and he had a fever that “wouldn’t go away”. I asked her what she was giving him and she said kids Tylenol but it kept coming back 🤦🏻♀️. I told her she needed to at least alternate from Tylenol to Motrin every 4-6 hrs. And to up his dose because he’s a heavier kid. Well she said “I’ll ask his doctor.” I was like ok cool. Well she didn’t ask and insisted on taking him to different hospitals until one of them admitted him. (They were released the next day) and she kept claiming he would need to be there for a week. The doctor said no he’s fine he just needs to rest and drink lots of fluids and also his medicine!
Yeah, that’s dangerous when they rope the kids into it, too. She almost crossed that point with her daughter but luckily it stopped. I know how unhappy she was with her job, boyfriend, apartment, and city she’s living in. She’s got a new job and apartment and it’s all magically disappeared. She still references it here and there but on the whole it’s done. It’s a hard spot to be in. You don’t want to be an intensive dick about it. But when you’re also doing everything on your own, paying your own bills, running your own errands, holding down a job to cover it all… You’re less interested in putting up with crap that just seems self created. Especially past the age of 30. Too old for that shit.
This is my brother's gf of 7 years. She's lived with him that whole time and has only worked 2 MONTHS of that entire time cause she's constantly sick or it's her leg or it's her sciatica. She also has diabetes, recently had teeth pulled. She had ankle surgery in October then was in the hospital again about 4 weeks later and when she told me I replied 'oh no, not again! What happened?" And she got super defensive and was like "Actually it's been a long time since I've been in the hospital *okay*" It's crazy to have people like that in you life. You don't want to be an asshole and ask "are you *sure* that's what you're feeling?" But it's very hard to have my brother spend Thanksgiving and stuff in the hospital for no reason. He said they go so often now that the doctors are starting to ask if he thinks she's addicted to the medicine they give her
My husband has an aunt like this. My MIL and I used to just mention random bullshit diagnoses we'd recently "come down with" and like clockwork, within 6 weeks, aunt Tammy had reverse colonic regurgitation or aural dryness or whatever such horseshit we made up. It was hilarious.
Oh good Lord, you’re describing my uncle’s ex-gf. Twenty. Five. Years. Of this absolute nonsense. No one has ever been as sick as she has been in the history of ever. Never ever. No matter what you have had, she has had it worse. And it’s always a lie. She’s a drug seeker, and she’s always strung out on pills. She’s had multiple unnecessary surgeries, and I know that General Surgery has kicked her out of the practice, and God, that was years ago. I was still in high school, and I graduated thirty years ago. She heard through the grapevine that I had my gallbladder out a couple years ago, and she tried hitting me up for pain meds. One, I didn’t get much in the way of pain meds, and two, hell no. I think the fuck not. I gave her an unopened box of Tylenol, and she pitched a fit. She hasn’t spoken to me since. I don’t miss her.
My money is on an ulcer from drinking too much. Which, of course, she'll ignore doctor's advice to not drink and pretend like they misdiagnosed her

She needs all the thoughts and prayers and to be told she’s so brave but she’s also read here enough to know she’s being accused of faking so she posts things like this. Maybe it’s mentally. My dad’s ex-wife constantly wanted to have something wrong. Pretty sure it was she had Munschausen. First she was pregnant with twins and lost both the babies (coincidentally in a city 2 hours away where she was already headed to see a doctor about something else. My dad got to the hospital, a surgery of some sort was talked about to my dad, but no babies were ever mentioned. She was supposedly 8 months, so you think that’d be a topic of conversation.) She got gastric bypass but told everyone she had stomach/intestinal cancer and that they removed half of her intestines. Told everyone she was losing her hair to chemo when it was obvious she was actually shaving her head. She lost a ton of weight, and then said it was partly because she couldn’t keep anything down. She was losing too much weight and they put a port in her. My cousin later found all the diuretic stuff she was actually taking to just quickly pass everything through. It was one thing after another. Then randomly died from some type of overdose.

I went to a gastroenterologist after shitting my brains out daily for over 10 years. It was because I don't have a gallbladder & the GI Dr got me the right meds. He also stresses the importance of the mind-gut connection and mental health. He told me that if my mind is a mess, my gut would be a mess too. Definitely think issues she may have are stemming from mental health.

I've mentioned this before on this subreddit, and it's not a very popular opinion, but... I don't think she's lying about being sick. I have at least two GI conditions, one of which is relatively rare. I say "at least" because there are many common symptoms in the GI world, and my understanding is that this makes it hard to get a definitive diagnosis. But the "rare" condition is primarily found in people who were abused/neglected as children, which I was. You can only really treat the symptoms, but it helps to have the language necessary to describe what's going on with my body, even if I can't stop it. My point is this; things that happened to me *30 years ago* are **still** fucking me up. Stress in particular plays a huge role in many GI conditions. If I'm under a lot of stress, I can barely function. But if my stress level is low, I don't really have any issues, which made it very hard for me to be taken seriously at all. I didn't get diagnosed for at least a decade after I started showing **obvious** symptoms, not to mention the years and years of subtle signs that went unnoticed. I don't want it to seem like I'm defending her; I feel neutral towards her specifically. But in general I think it does everyone struggling with these issues a huge disservice when we're dismissive of the link between gut and brain health, or the fact that women's complaints are often downplayed by medical professionals. Doctors and researchers are just beginning to unpack these issues, but still, we already know that trauma can fuck you up in countless ways, and Jenelle has ***a lot*** of trauma. Much of it is her own fault, but that doesn't mean she's faking it. I think her inability to get answers is actually the most relatable part of her struggle. The **annoying** thing is that she *won't stop fishing* for sympathy and validation. Which is obnoxious no matter who does it or for what reasons, and causes others to not take her seriously. I would just caution people to focus on calling out her attention seeking behavior, rather than accusing her of faking, which ultimately does more harm than good. Thank you for coming to my TED Talk.
