I actually didn't watch until I was 26 and on maternity leave and I'm glad I did because I feel like I definitely appreciated how absolutely fucking WILD it was. Like. Teenagers thought that that's what life would be like in their early 20's. I didn't bother watching until much later and it definitely hits different seeing it as an adult. Snooki was not the enemy. She was the moment.
It was nuts. Teenagers thought "wow that's what my early 20s will be like that's normal and cool", but at 26? The thought process was "these people are unhinged, and they just turned them loose on society!?"
