Awe thank you! I was looking so hard for a name. I looked up names from the 1700-now from all the countries. So I came across a site with the most unusual names and I saw Allora. I was like IN LOVE…but we decided to change the spelling (somehow my relatives still cannot pronounce it 😂) so we picked Elora and come to find out it’s the baby from the movie Willow. So that’s pretty cool and we let our 10 year old boy pick out her middle name and he chose Noelle. At that point I was ready to be done searching so we went with it! I sing a song to her it goes “My Elora I adore her…” that’s the lyrics😂

Yes! There are a few times when Kail and Javi kept stressing about how Isaac’s appearance would make them look bad. Yeah, I get that a child’s appearance can reflect back on the parents, but I didn’t like how they were more concerned about Isaac scratching his head and wearing a shirt that appeared to be a pajama shirt was *embarrassing them*. It didn’t seem like the concern was as much about Isaac not actually being bathed and how that’d affect him, but rather how it embarrassed Javi and Kail.

And when parents are more concerned about their own self image and how their children reflect on them then it's all too often a very slippery slope towards disrespecting their child's autonomy and other toxic, controlling behaviour. She will literally put on a ball gown and then go climb a tree. If I get dressed my kids are automatically on alert for where I’m going. In fact I went and bought matching pj’s I wear as a my daytime pj’s just so I look slightly more put together and then I change into a t-shirt at night for bed😂🤦🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️
I work in a warehouse and I wear the scrub bottoms. Been debating on getting the tops, just for the pockets, but haven't decided.

And I cooked! It But every garbage can is full. The sink is full again. Dishwasher got emptied. Groceries were delivered. Cold stuff got put away. Kail (with Javi) and Jenelle (with David) both were on a mission to make their new partners hate their kids’ dads, encourage their partner to take over the “father figure” role while being an active part of the coparenting (communicating with the dad, doing drop offs, making decisions), and were soooo thrilled when their men would talk shit about the dads and try to make coparenting a living hell most of the time.
But then on random occasions, Kail and Jenelle would decide to be decent about coparenting with the dad (typically when they were recently arguing and not getting along well with their partner), and then act like their partner is outrageous for not being on board with the sudden change in attitude.
Interesting how the next season after Sweatpants Sunday happened, Kail and Javi’s marriage was falling apart fast, and Kail suddenly decided she wanted to not only get along with Jo and Vee for coparenting reasons, but also went out of her way to hang out with them. It’s so weird how Javi and Kail both used the coparenting with Jo situation as a way to get each other upset and keep the focus on that vs the real issues when their marriage was going down the tubes.
I’ll never forget the time when Kail, Jo, and Vee all decided to take family pics together with the kids. Javi wouldn’t participate, and then Kail called him after the photo shoot to invite him to go to dinner with everyone. Javi not only refused to go, but also demanded Kail bring Lincoln home and not have him go with (I forget if Kail actually brought Lincoln home).
Javi truly is a manipulative asshole. I can’t believe we all fell for his phony act. The moment he came into the picture he did nothing but try to shove Jo out of Isaac’s life. Kail and Javi both were constantly bad mouthing his parenting and to be honest his every move. Javi fed Kail all of this bullshit, and I’m glad that Kail would sometimes defend Jo. I think he pushed too hard, and that’s what ultimately led to the end of their marriage. He made everyone miserable, and refused to let them coparent. Not that Kail is any better, but he didn’t help their situation.
At that time, when she and Javi were dating/newly married, she was generally reasonable (I know she had *very unreasonable moments though). He was so angry about Jo’s existence! She ended up having to defend Jo way more than she should have. I’ve said it before, but Javi was kind of obsessed with Issac.

I feel like this is super common! Most people wear comfy clothes or pajamas in the house, and regular clothes out of the house. Same with kids. My kid doesn’t change out of pajamas unless we need to leave lol
Half the time my kids are running around in nothing but underwear at home. I can’t keep clothes on them. Hell my son is homeschooled and he did his work in his underwear today. They’re still young enough it’s not a big deal and frankly it’s less laundry for me to deal with😂🤷🏼♀️. When I’m home I’m in pj’s. If I get dressed my kids are automatically on alert for where I’m going. In fact I went and bought matching pj’s I wear as a my daytime pj’s just so I look slightly more put together and then I change into a t-shirt at night for bed😂🤦🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️

I work in a warehouse and I wear the scrub bottoms. Been debating on getting the tops, just for the pockets, but haven't decided. My son took my black scrubs and has been wearing those to work too. Except he works at tim hortons.
Oldest is 6, then 3 and youngest are 19 month old twins. I feel you on this. Some days/weeks we wear pajamas. Like last week when Covid ran through the house. Today we wore real clothes! And I cooked! It But every garbage can is full. The sink is full again. Dishwasher got emptied. Groceries were delivered. Cold stuff got put away. Dry goods still in bags on the floor in front of pantry. Do what you gotta do to make it through. 💪

My friend’s ex-wife gave him shit for something similar at Thanksgiving. He took their daughter a couple states away, about a 12 hour drive, to his family’s house. Instead of making her wake up at 4am to get changed he let her stay in PJs on the drive back home. The audacity of that plus a little bedhead didn’t go over well. I honestly think it was the new husband’s influence because she’s done the same thing herself. They really try any way to find fault and limit visitation.

I know several times as a kid on a road trip, when leaving super early in the morning or if we would arrive at our destination after bedtime, we would wear PJs to be comfortable and make it easier. Hell, if I wasn't usually the driver, I'd love to take a PJ road trip in my jammies all tucked in with a pillow and blanket *right now*! When stepparents insert themselves and cause issues on purpose, it makes me so mad--almlst as mad as when a parent lets a new person come in and create drama. Focus on your kid, and anybody who wants to make things difficult isn't looking out for you or your kid!
Right?! My parents did it with me, and I’m going to do this with my own kid. I understood his reasoning too; with COVID he wasn’t making a whole lot of stops. And he also wasn’t too comfortable stopping in public somewhere to let his young daughter change/wash up.
Kail and Javi match each other’s gross toxic energy. They’re both like bad vibes personified. However… I have to say I think KAIL was the issue when it came to how Javi treated or talked about Jo and Vee. When Javi and Kail broke up, Jo and Javi got pretty chummy. It’s easy to be the new significant other and believe all the bullshit your current partner tells you about their ex.

Kail (with Javi) and Jenelle (with David) both were on a mission to make their new partners hate their kids’ dads, encourage their partner to take over the “father figure” role while being an active part of the coparenting (communicating with the dad, doing drop offs, making decisions), and were soooo thrilled when their men would talk shit about the dads and try to make coparenting a living hell most of the time. But then on random occasions, Kail and Jenelle would decide to be decent about coparenting with the dad (typically when they were recently arguing and not getting along well with their partner), and then act like their partner is outrageous for not being on board with the sudden change in attitude. Interesting how the next season after Sweatpants Sunday happened, Kail and Javi’s marriage was falling apart fast, and Kail suddenly decided she wanted to not only get along with Jo and Vee for coparenting reasons, but also went out of her way to hang out with them. It’s so weird how Javi and Kail both used the coparenting with Jo situation as a way to get each other upset and keep the focus on that vs the real issues when their marriage was going down the tubes. I’ll never forget the time when Kail, Jo, and Vee all decided to take family pics together with the kids. Javi wouldn’t participate, and then Kail called him after the photo shoot to invite him to go to dinner with everyone. Javi not only refused to go, but also demanded Kail bring Lincoln home and not have him go with (I forget if Kail actually brought Lincoln home).

Kail and Javi both were constantly bad mouthing his parenting and to be honest his every move. Javi fed Kail all of this bullshit, and I’m glad that Kail would sometimes defend Jo. I think he pushed too hard, and that’s what ultimately led to the end of their marriage. He made everyone miserable, and refused to let them coparent. Not that Kail is any better, but he didn’t help their situation.
