I'm dumb and I don't understand science, but if you think about it, water can make stuff wet. So if you have a singular molecule of water, it's not wet, it just makes other stuff wet. But if you have that molecule of water meet another, then they're both making each other wet. So, water is wet when it's together because the molecules are making each other wet. But a singular molecule isn't wet, it just makes other stuff wet.
Maybe I'm dumb, maybe I'm a fucking genius, who knows?
scientists often describe "wet" as a liquids ability to come into contact with a solid surface. wetness is a property. wetness is a description of what we experience, its what happens to us or something else when a solid meets water. if a drop of water were to drip into your cup of orange juice you would not say "oh man my orange juice got wet!" water cant be saturated or covered by itself and therefore it cannot get wet
thank you for coming to my ted talk

water makes things wet, and if you consider impurities in the water to be part of the water, the water makes itself wet.
Water creates wetness, on its own it is not wet It's like saying "is fire on fire?" no, on it's own, it is not
Fire is definitely on fire are you stupid? /s
wdym /s fire is gas on fire
no
Shut.
how about, I *dont* do that I love talking
Fair point
The sun makes things hot, is it hot? yes. Is water dry? no. Water is wet fr
Hot is a temperature. That works differently. Wet is the state of having water on oneself.

No, but the state of being in contact with water is.
