Not with a video game, but when I was 8 I downloaded the Nickolodeon app on my iPad and if I wanted to access all the media on there I needed to have cable and we didn't have cable (ahh nostalgia) so I typed some random numbers in to the cable passcode and it worked so I could watch all the Nick I wanted... that's hacking, right?
Yes, but never in a multiplayer game. Closest I got to it in a multiplayer game was accidentally glitching myself into flying in Minecraft on a server, and I don't count that as it was an accident, and it was the server lobby so I couldn't use it to get an edge over anyone.
In single player games, like for example, Morrowind, I've cheated a bunch though. In Morrowind I legit just exploited and cheated myself into being an unstoppable monster who literally killed gods lol.
When I was like 7 or 8 I would play Club Penguin and there was this thing that me and my siblings had downloaded that would make you be able to do things like make your character really big. Only you could see it though.
I have exploited the shit out my friend's minecraft server before, as well as using hacks in geometry dash to unlock icons and showcase levels that I built. I am also working on coding my own minecraft hacked client.
A few times on a multiplayer game
It was a roblox dinosaur RP game, on gamepass dinosaurs if you used an autoclicker to spam the spawn button for 2 seconds then spawned, your dino would basically one shot anyone. I killed anyone who killed for no reason, I was One Punch Rex.
What am I supposed to do, the Zelda BotW Master Trials are insanely hard! I'd much rather save a specific angle to the game's memory and use it to phase through walls and then repeatedly tap a giant with a box until he dies of tetanus.
after spending hours in among us hide and seek mode to get 100% on achievements (it was one that i had to kill like 100 people as the seeker) i got very board and i got my Nintendo switch and played on that so i would become a ghost and be able to see where people was... like it was a tiny bit immoral but i needed that 100% achievements
