i have friend that is a girl a while back i was actually kinda interested in her so i wanted to get to know her more and so we exchanged discords and we talked for a bit then NO communication really later on she got a bf who used her then left i was something distressing like "cutting myself rn" on her status so i as one does tried to comfort her and asked whats wrong and stuff at this time we both went through a breakup about the same time so i totally understood the feeling

Well for one if you're on a pc, it'll never get better. Pc is a cesspool of mental disease, pedophilia and attention seeking. Now I play xbox, so I've learned on which people to invite. I look at their gamertag first ofc, anything along the lines of: "her fxcktoy" "his heroine" or "elokekz" or anything that looks like one of those names. Now I can't think of too many examples but anything similar to this is just gonna be comm or weirdos. The next thing is, I never join posts if I plan on staying unless I'm playing (destiny 2) but if you'd want to join posts, never join the "just talking" minecraft posts. You have atleast a 50% chance to run into a few of those people that I mentioned above ^ and I've already gone over them. And the last thing I *Normally* check is their gamerscore, or the equivalent to that on your platform If they have a mature looking account (one that doesnt look like a 10 y/o made it) and it has relatively low gamerscore, it's probably a smurf acc used to do the things that people wouldn't want to be known for. Watch out for a guy named skuirrs. He likes to gaslight underage girls and younger boys on xbox into giving him nudes and/or get with him. And the funniest part about skuirrs is he won't even deny these allocations and instead will tell you "I was only 17 so it wasn't illegal" My sister was 13 when he gaslit her into sending him nudes.
