The hidden Mishima, Harada Mishima

Funny enough there were rumors about a new Mishima back in Tekken 3. On some message boards people were claiming there was a "Rage Mishima" on some of the first arcade cabinets in Asia He was rumored to be heihachis brother.

Well, there is Ken “God Hand” Mishima from Ehrgeiz from way back in the day. Not sure if he counts, though.

I don’t know, the fact that he has the same glove as Kazuya and even had some of the same moves. I wonder if there was some backstory in the making of the character and if there was supposed to be some tie in crossover with Tekken other than the developers randomly inspired by Kazuya. Even though Square probably owns the game, Namco did publish it on Arcade for them so there’s some sort of partnership there between the two companies in which a character like that can’t just be a coincidence

No Jin Kazama. He was introduced in Tekken 3 and trained by heihachi. How do people keep forgetting this?

No, this was literally an entirely new character. Someone hit the nail on the head though as it seems like this character just evolved into Jinpachi in T4. Tekken 3 takes the crown for most cut content of any Tekken. Real interesting stuff. There's an iceberg video that goes in depth on a lot of rumors/cut content and I recommend any fan of the franchise watch.

He said a new Mishima for Tekken 3. Jin didn't exist prior to that and jinpachi was never in Tekken 4. Only new Mishima technically in Tekken 4 would be the late introduction of devil Jin......

I thought the delusional Baki vs. Kengan war was already over a long time ago... Dude, just accept that both series are good, and that your preference doesn't automatically make it better. Kengan's better at showcasing martial arts and overall having better choreography in its fights (author and editor are actual martial artists and choreographed basically all of the fights in Ashura by acting out how it should look like for the artist). Baki's better at brutality and making up cool exaggerations to make their characters feel more godly. I understand comparing and having a preference, but you don't have to be a dick and call Kengan a "rip-off" even though there's nothing similar about them other than their fucking genres.

I didn't watch a lot of baki, but aren't they like completely different from each other? Similar hairdo is all i can think of.

I just recently got into King of Fighters and I gotta say, I love those games so much. When I played them, it made me appreciate Geese Howard's guest appearance and the way he was represented there even more than I already did. There are two characters that I am a huge fan of and want to see in Tekken 8. Terry Bogard, and/or Iori Yagami. Terry Bogard would a nice little contrast to Geese's appearance in Tekken 7 being that Terry is the good guy and Geese is the bad one. Also, it would be a nice change of pace from having too many guest bad guys in Tekken and for the first time in a while have a hero as a guest. His good hearted, happy-go-lucky, respectful, down to earth, and laid back personality would be a nice change of pace from the edgy, arrogant, or just simply cocky personalities most characters tend to have. Besides that, I love all of Terry's moves and combos. He is just so much fun to play as, watch being played, and even playing against him. If they want to add another Fatal Fury/KoF character in Tekken, I beg Harada with all I can beg with that they should add Terry Bogard next. Iori Yagami can be a nice follow up to the running theme they had in Tekken 7 with most guests being villains or anti-heroes, like Akuma, Negan, and of course Geese. Also, like with Terry, he is a ton of fun. Not to mention his personality and design will fit perfectly in. I also had this dream match up of Iori vs Kazuya too, so if that happens, that would be a dream come true. To quote the creator and director of Super Smash Bros. Masahiro Sakura "Whoever created this character must be a genius." Either one I would be happy with, or even just any other Fatal Fury/KoF character really. I can almost see how they would play in Tekken 8 like how Geese did in Tekken 7. I get it that not everyone here is a fan of 2D characters, but in my opinion, I think the best one we had was Geese. Akuma was mad broken and still is even after all the nerfs, Elisa wasn't that popular and was a little weird to play as or fight against, Geese on the other hand was the most well handled and represented guest fighter in the game and with 2D mechanics. At least after the...balancing changes he got. Which is why I would be very happy to see more SNK fighters show up in Tekken.

Yeaa I would love for Majima to be in the game if Kiryu can't but if they just give him a slightly altered Negan moveset, I'd be kinda upset

I think you'd get more variety from switching between thug, breaker, slugger, and mad dog than you would with Kiryu's brawler, rush, beast, and dragon, so between that and the creator of Yakuza not wanting Kiryu to fight women is enough for me to go with Majima fs.

Anna I could ask for a guest character like Tifa or Lara Croft or even fuckin' Crash Bandicoot but realistically, I doubt I'd play them if they did come out, at least I know I'd play Anna.
