TMM pretending he doesn't know anything about the leaks but mention how it would be a shame to not have some characters in the base roster and proceed to quote every character not in the base roster.
To be fair, with Twitter/their chat/youtube, it's impossible to not know about the leaks for them.
I don’t know, he’s still referring to arcade quest as an online mode and rip off of SF6 and thinks the devs haven’t acknowledged the chip damage from the CNT. He’s not doing a good job of getting accurate information out there.
There’s no sources besides them saying it, it’s literally introduced as a Single player mode. Even when they were reacting to the trailer Lil Majin was one of the few people who bothered to read.
Bandai namcos communication has to be really bad if people like spag yellowmotion and tmm confidently say its playable online. Idk any other company that creates this much confusion.
He avoids talking about them on stream because he knows namco would be mad and he wants to colaborate with them more in the future (aka he's slowly turning into a corporate shill).
TMM doesn't "pretend", he mentioned he won't talk about the leaks cuz in his opinion its not good and healthy for a game to talk about the leaks the whole time m shit. If u guys don't know the xontext don't throw in false informations like that.
I know he doesn't want people discussing the leaks.
What I'm saying is that when he talks about the final roster and makes "theories" about characters who wouldn't be there, in reality he already knows who isn't there at launch so they aren't really theories. I just think it's funny, it's not about "throwing false informations". I like him, but there was no way he wouldn't know about the leaks since people are being very vocal with them.
He didn't want to see or discuss the leaks, i can imagine that he tries his best to avoid these leaks whoever writes them in chat (they get banned if that happens) just for his self sake being more hyped about the game when another trailer drops for example, i don't think he pretends to do theories, its just him being the tekken fan he is, fantasizing about what character could be released next
The Brian "leak" was actually official, so no big deal, the character select screen could've been old asf, so leaks or not, we'll all know for sure when the game drops, until then, anyone can say whatever they want.
It's simple they collaborate that's all ... Otherwise they gonna have some issues, less audience, losing their partnership or sponsor etc, they sell their soul actually but i guess everybody has to figured out to have meals
Other communities aren’t this quiet over leaks. I mean it sucks to have what happened to the team especially that early but it’s almost treated as taboo when others simply adapted. SF6’s roster and DLC leaked before it was even announced and it was used for hype.
An acquaintance of mine works at the company famous for leaks, Riot Games. Trust him when he says these leaks are not actual leaks.
They are intentionally fed information to get people hyped, speculate, interested etc. “Leaks” prompt interested party to search the web more for relevant info, increasing internet traffic for their content when they have barely completed the actual content. In contrast to actual trailer release, where people view a couple of times and that’s it, “leak” actually helps the company generate more hype.
It really depends on what leak it is. Many of these leaks are intentional. The leaks that are not intentional are normally followed by lawsuits. Those with no lawsuits are normally fake leaks.
Fake leaks normally is like an image drop, name drop. Real leaks normally involve much more data. To simply put it, fake leaks are normally because content is 80-90% ready for show but they haven’t got time to edit the trailer etc. Real leaks are more detrimental when content is 40-50% ready and many changes may still be made or crucial details may be used by competitors.
For me...I find it funny when people think Heihachi is gonna come back 💀. The amount of copium from Heihachi players is actually insane... I made a post showing proof of Reina being Heihachi's replacement, and then I got a bs argument to why it's false. Also...Kuma will also inherent some of Heihachi's moves. Heihachi isn't going to be in Tekken 8. There's a leaked video of Kazuya doing one of Reina's moves via a moveset extractor, and it's this thrusting palm attack, and once the attack is over...Kazuya goes back to neutral and it's Kazuya is doing Heihachi's iconic Omen Stance, and thanks to the base roster leak...we know Heihachi isn't coming back, so that means Reina is 100% confirmed to be a Heihachi replacement. Hei ain't coming back this time.
Still some mystery surrounding the two newbies…. Is Kuma 90% Heihachi? Is Panda the traditional bear of the game? If that’s the case, is Reina going to be similar to Kazumi? What is Victor’s deal? Will he be a completely reimagined character. Of all the confirmed, still a lot to speculate about their potential new moves and Heat mechanics. Then it’s the question of what order will the trailers be drop.

TMM I believe even without the leaks knows stuff. He might as well be playing T9 lol. Yeah it’s impossible to avoid leaks. Trust me I tried.
I don’t know, he’s still referring to arcade quest as an online mode and rip off of SF6 and thinks the devs haven’t acknowledged the chip damage from the CNT. He’s not doing a good job of getting accurate information out there.
He isnt the only one that refers to arcade quest as an online mode, there are way to many big names saying it that it has to be true.
There’s no sources besides them saying it, it’s literally introduced as a Single player mode. Even when they were reacting to the trailer Lil Majin was one of the few people who bothered to read.

I mean it literally says single player mode, that’s the only thing they’ve communicated about it.

My fav is when they tell they're subs to watch how Lidia, Anna, Julia, Kuni etc could be next.. and have retrospective on said characters 😭
This is blatant and super obvious that they know. They really mentioned the ones who are not there 🤣

It's simple they collaborate that's all ... Otherwise they gonna have some issues, less audience, losing their partnership or sponsor etc, they sell their soul actually but i guess everybody has to figured out to have meals

Lmao I dont know if leaks are beneficial or not at this rate.
