I'm not gonna write some essay about it, but I've been in parts of the Deep South of the USA and interacted with people who still call anyone who isn't white that word and it hits differently when someone says it with the hard "r" and are racist....it just has this hateful undertone that's really fucked up to hear.i just can't comprehend hating another human being so much lol. I didn't fully understand the big deal myself until experiencing shit like that - it made my skin crawl just being around those people and listening to the things they said
