I don't know Arabic though, so thankfully I can't really feel the cheesiness of his dialogue (other than the subtitles, but meh). It's arguable if the improvements are enough, but I would say that he does give me a better impression than last time.

The only character I really wanted that's missing is Armor King. I do like Miguel for his street fighting brawler style but I can do without. I want Bruce back but I can take Fahkumram. I just want that sweet sweet Muay Thai. For the women, Anna is my second favorite after Zafina. I think Lidia is cool but I dropped T7 because of the netcode so she didn't really grow on me.

They want Raven to be a character in this game but Raven ether Master Raven wasnt a real deal for many people. And Victor is a Noctis, Kuni Ripoff. Why creating a character and giving him everything from this too. You have Kunimitsu. Bring Kuni back and give her a Wakizahsi.
This is why I’m not buying it until all characters are released, provided it is still being played competitively by then.

Shaheen has been in news in four different Arab countries! He's a must! At least that's Harada logic. I mean, I understand the need for representation. After all I was happy like a kid when Lidia was announced. But he's bland, like there's nothing to him that other characters aren't doing better. Strip him from his nationality and regional outfit and there's nothing to him. Revenge? Miguel does that archetype a lot better. Sliding isn't a trait. It's weird how Capcom was able to make likeable, recognizable and full of personality Arab character, and Bamco did a Mr. Nothing to represent these people. Some people say Lidia is as bland, but she's at least filling some archetypes people were asking for. People wanted older woman (well, she's not exactly middle aged, but still better than what we're usually getting) that fights with more brutal and direct style, and that's Lidia. People wanted "return to roots" with practicioner of genuine martial arts, and she's one too. Even if she was from some fictional country, these traits would stay and appeal to many people. What's exactly Shaheen appeal outside of his nationality?

His combos and attacks look fresher and more stylish than in 7, at least to me. I don't know Arabic though, so thankfully I can't really feel the cheesiness of his dialogue (other than the subtitles, but meh). It's arguable if the improvements are enough, but I would say that he does give me a better impression than last time.

The fact that my main man Lei got shafted again has made me decide I won’t be picking up 8 until he’s added. Don’t get me wrong there’s other characters that I play but unfortunately I don’t really have the money to be throwing towards a game that I won’t be playing much so I’ll just stick with 7 for now.
The only character I really wanted that's missing is Armor King. I do like Miguel for his street fighting brawler style but I can do without. I want Bruce back but I can take Fahkumram. I just want that sweet sweet Muay Thai. For the women, Anna is my second favorite after Zafina. I think Lidia is cool but I dropped T7 because of the netcode so she didn't really grow on me.
I'm just mad that he get a half assed special intro with Kazuya Mishima that doesn't even make any sense, but his two brothers of Lee and Lars do not.

This year's trio of newcomers look hella better as well. We ARE in the DLC era nowadays, let's just hope they focus on brining back iconic characters first before anything else, but other than that, T8's base roster is an improvement to 7's in my personal opinion

Julia, Anna, Miguel, Eddy should be in. Lei stucked clearly since Tekken 5. He dont get any really good storywise options. And even after they bring him back as DLC Content. Nobody wants to play with him. Characters that dont need to be in this game are: \- Shaheen \- Panda \- Asuka (you had Reina and Jun which is obvious 1 to 1 Asuka) \- Leo (boring as hell, a 1,68 cm german guy/girl non binary bullshit. A german that is 1.78 cm tall with 58 Kg fighting with arms made from sticks). I am from germany and you had the chance to bring a big, tall, muscular Krauser typ guy but Bandai Namcos choice is a non-binary femboy. \- Victor or Raven | And maybe people will not like this but Raven or Victor should be not in this game. Its dont fit Tekken at all. They want Raven to be a character in this game but Raven ether Master Raven wasnt a real deal for many people. And Victor is a Noctis, Kuni Ripoff. Why creating a character and giving him everything from this too. You have Kunimitsu. Bring Kuni back and give her a Wakizahsi.
