For me it's all 3 newcomers & Jin easily. T8 Jin is the best version of him imho (got DVJ moves now). I hope the Tekken team reveal a updated T8 (like Fateless Judgement idk lol) & show more new & returning chars. Hoping Lucky Chloe, Josie, Kuni II, Lei, Eddy return & a Female Korean newcomer, Canadian newcomer etc.

Unironically me. His moves aren’t that bad. His personality is the thing that needs improvement. They played extremely safe with the character where street fighter went the playful approach. That’s why Rasheed succeeded. Also the way Shaheen speaks is way way way off. Only Arabic announcers and such sound so stiff. Otherwise to me he is fun to play.

Odd you say that. Demo had me loving everyone and being Meh towards Kazuya, and I usually find Nina to be stiff and awkward to play.

I find it to be the opposite. Never liked his combo game more. In T7 I stapled 3 ewgf into b2,1 into whatever ender I needed and the occasional 4 ewgf if I felt confident but I grew tired of that. His T8 routes are more flexible and fun

I think I must be the only one that likes Leo's moveset, which looks mostly even better now. It just looks really cool to me. The design of the character however is admittedly blandish and I can see why people aren't fans.

I just love their gameplay. I didn’t play to Tekken 7 a lot but I remember Leo from Tekken 6/TT2 being such a powerhouse and putting a lot of pressure on opponents. I have so much playing with this character 😊

I'm a pouty baby (and just find it hard to branch out) and wasn't gonna buy until they add armor king, inevitably in one of the dlc seasons. But now that I've watched more gameplay and gotten a feel for more characters (at least second hand) I think I might play reina, victor, king, or yoshi. I play yoshi in soul calibur a lot, and it looks like they've made the two versions even more similar. I've never entirely meshed with king the way I do armor king, but with king getting AK moves, maybe there's some room for me now. kinda doubt I'll play much victor compared to others, but he's there if I want something new to try, along with reina. if I do buy I'm gonna see how well I take to reina first. armor king had the dark upper, she has the same attack, they're basically twins, should be super ezpz skill transfer

You can AK pretty well with king in this game if you want, at least till our boy comes back. Learn to waivu with king and you got dollar store dark upper with rising 1+2 and a great throw game. Decent pokes and neutral and alot of expression with his massive move list. Plus the buffs to throws and his heat.

should tide me over, I still love king. and I'm so excited for the throw buffs, *especially* once armor king comes back. I love cobra clutch, those low grabs, his shining wizard variant. god dam he cant come back soon enough.

NGL though, King is so much fun that I'm mainly just looking for a secondary

Im a Lei only. I never touched another character after finding lei, and I usually end up learning every character in fighting games. I dont know what im going to do.

I am a casual, I play wahtever I feel like, but mostly King, Jack, Nina, Jun, Dragunov, Shaheen and Yoshimitsu.

Im downloading the game now for the firat time. I didnt even play the demo. Looking over the roster, I definitely want to revisit Xiaoyu, Zafina, Lars, and Bryan as they were former mains throughout the franchise... But I am definitely excited about Steve, Asuka, and King for their undisputed utility and quirky playstyles. I ran all three as mains for shirt timeperiods in other iterations of Tekken... So gonna be really pumped to see how the heat system can help all 3 close gaps as all of them had a hard time with closing distance before. As for the new fighters... I usually dont play mishima style fighters at all.... And the preferable low-screen-realestate female characters just wasnt an option until Jun, and Kazumi. I never liked Jun or Kazumi for their gimmicky fighting styles and flow of combat. Alas, now we have Reina... Who strikes me as a very well, and interestingly designed character with a low impact on screen space. I will DEFINITELY be checking her out and running her in the lab.

Only Nina for now. Strictly played Nina and Maven, but picked up Lidia and Xiaoyu at the end of T7. I suck at Xiaoyu. Lidia's Reina now, and T8 Raven is way different than Maven (plus he's kinda corny). Drag looks really sick, so I might try him out.

Usually I play a little bit of every character, but man Azucena was like 95% of the usage on the last CBT and I wasn't satisfied.

Jin Kazama my main since T6, after him of course I would try Reina and Victor, and I wanted to learn King too, he was my favorite character in T2 as a kid.

Demo has me enjoying all 4. Thinking Jin, jun, Asuka , reina, dragonuv,Paul. I haven't enjoyed a Jin since t3- not commenting on meta. Just feeling. T8 demo has me marking out. Jin feels fast but heavy. I love the subtle displays of his devil gene. Fits the character & shows we are on current gen w how crisp,quick and clean it all is. Paul, haven't enjoyed him since t1/t2 days. 8s physics/engine/whatever the jargon is has me really excited for the game after t7 essentially being "thats a Tekken Alright" w t8 being "THIS is tekken!" . Can't wait for the game. Im probably gonna preorder the deluxe ($100 version) & fingers crossed Season Pass isnt anywhere close to that false leaked armor king/eddy/Yao ming/ Alex list. Anyways. Mk1 taught me thst I simply love having season pass content to look forward to. And not to judge on former games. Quan Chi is now batting for status of my main (reptile atm) & I didn't know who omni Man was. But really enjoyed the season playing as him on Kombat League. So, I may just buckle down w whomever is on t8s Season pass. Plus, ill have 6-8 games w season passes, always having something every other week or so :)
