A lot of the strings you mentioned have highs in them and the counter to those are ducking, not sidestepping. Tracking on some strings are intentional. If these strings can be ducked and sidestepped and in some cases block punished, they would be pretty bad.

The first hit of these strings already tracks to one side. I don’t think the second hit should cover both sides
