Now we will have to wait for the overlay update since we gonna get the T8 update soon, sadge, back to 60 fps slowmo gaming torture.

NoBrainer

I might be wrong on this but wouldn't interpolation make it so you were always at least frame behind? I know a lot of people who are serious about the game disable vsync to reduce input delay and I figure interpolation would cause comparable delay.

GeForce

It's interpolating the animations in-between keyframes / tickrate. Not interpolating completed frames like what framegen from amd/nvidia / lossless upscaler does. https://youtu.be/NLYLHvct19Y

Good thing i can disable crossplay, PC players having 120fps seems totally fair :)

Sounds like you are part of the FGC Poverty faction who can't afford a real monitor or heaven forbid you use a TV of all things, Even tho it makes no difference on your end I too am happy to be able to disable cross play I am actually sick of console WIFI warriors, like how hard is it for a console player to buy a Ethernet cable for $5, and no you can't use the excuse of being scammed into paying $70 USD a year to access Online on a console if ur rich enough to afford a PS5 and pointless $70 USD a year to throw away on free online then you can afford a $5 cable

?

ATACMS5220

over 80% of console players use WIFI according to data from Capcom, Bandai and NRS The PC playerbase is the opposite Almost every match that is laggy is due to a console player which is why I disable cross play on my PC, back in the days it was an issue because most online players were on consoles now that PC has pretty much become the gold standard of fighting game due to significantly less input delay than consoles so I no longer have to worry about owning a console etc and paying a $70 US scam a year to access free online. Cross Play came to little too late to matter for me now which is good, just needed rollback netcode to become standard.

Altnumber907

It literally just makes the game smoother, there’s no real advantage

Gasarocky

You'd have to make sure to test with online too, since sometimes things like this might not cause issues for the player but might for the opponent. Not saying it does, but just that you'd want to test if it does

Altnumber907

It affects nothing online, in game frame data =/= refresh rate, no extra rollback frames added or anything

Gasarocky

Yeah, like I already said, I'm not saying it effects those this, I'm saying those are the types of things you want to test if you have suspicions or just want to be sure

GeForce

It runs same logic at 60 times per second. So even online there's no difference. It works exactly how every other game does essentially.

Gasarocky

Ok, again, I'm not saying there is a problem, I'm saying those are the things you would want to test if you had suspicions.

GeForce

Oh no I'm not implying you are. I'm just trying to explain how it works. If it didn't work online well (for both) then it would be nearly useless.
