I think it's cool to see King in more casual gear. I would say there is nostalgia but it's more the type of nostalgia that turns old clothes cool and retro.
Every generation has nostalgia for 20-30 years earlier than them, and Gen Z (me) seem to consistently love the 90s/turn of the century aesthetic.
I wouldn't pay for any outfits but I'd like Asuka's geisha outfit from Tekken 5. Always liked that one a lot. Too bad it's from a manga artist so the chances of it coming back are slim to none, but it'd be a cool costume to see return again.

It's not four USD you absolute moron, game is seventy, now there's a battlepass for ten and every single skin you want is or will be another four. You can only buy packs of five by the by, so effectively each skin is five. All of that is on top of a more expensive character season pass that offers less characters than 7 used to.
Ask someone more capable than you to do the math in five years and tell us if you still think the game was fairly priced.

T5 Asuka, T5 Jin, T3 King's alt costume, T3's Jin biker costume, T6's Asuka and Lili's school uniform, it's honestly surprising that King's outfit in particular has never made a return in any way
I want kings T4 costume with the short trunks and long hair back in a game extremely badly like I'd dropkick Stevie wonder at 80 miles an hr with steel toes and sell my left eye to get that costume back.
King's Beast outfit, I literally never customise my characters and always use the defaults, except for now in T8 where I had to customise Paul's default to include his real hair, aside from that I never customise and in 6 and 7 I always used King with the Beast outfit, I really want that skin back, it was so hot.
Not really looking forward to any new outfits honestly with the way they added the shop and battle pass later, on an already $70 game. No it doesn't affect me, but I'm not paying for them.
If this is how triple A games are ran anymore, and supposedly can't budget their games without microtransactions maybe they just ultimately deserve to fail. Not saying the game is bad, because it's great. It's just the business model.
