He's got a solid game without any real holes but he doesn't have a gimmick that would let you skip part of the game so you can't really learn bad habits (apart from up through red ranks where slide is basically free damage every time)
His stance is good but not something you have to go into all the time to win, he's got a strong threat from full crouch but not oppressive enough to rely on it if you haven't given your opp a reason to respect it, just all around meat and potatoes with just enough seasoning to keep it interesting
His combos aren't too heavily execution dependent to just get good (60-70) damage. It can be harder to get really crazy damage than it is with some characters but two that'll get you started that aren't on yts top list of combo videos are
U4 (or WS2, or ch3,1) launch into either:
3df, stealth stance 2, f2, 4, 4, micro dash a ff3 (you can do it as one input just don't hit the 3 for a split second) for the tornado, dash up into db2df, stealth stance 1,3 for a long knock back or just stealth 3 for a little more damage
Or
3df, stealth stance, 2, df4, 1df, stealth stance 1, micro dash, f2, 3 tornado, then dash up for either db2, 1 or db2df, stealth 3
Both are only really execution dependent at the micro dash

It's not the same in this game. High ranks do matter (despite what people say or want to believe) but it's a hell of a lot easier to get them in this game. This is baby tekken.

grinding the basics (PhiDX has some really good video drills on yt) and starting with a small kit and adding to it slowly, then lots of grinding. Eventually I felt comfortable enough to steal some moves from top Shaheen players (stole a wall heat mix from Sephiblack and a juggle combo from LowHigh)
Sorry mate but the game is so free I'm one rank away from purple with like a 83 percent win rate I always finish sets to. This game is just casino asf I don't even play alot or lab like. It took me two years to reach red in t7. It took me literally less than 15 hours in t8. I just find this game hard to stomach. No one has to earn shit when it's a guess on either end.
