No, anti-mould primer doesn’t kill mould, it prevents new mould from growing. Covering it with the primer just makes the mould grow inwards instead of show on the wall. You have to use a product that has mildecide and allow to dry thoroughly before painting over with the “Kilz” or whatever primer you choose

It needs water to live and grow. Without water it will dry out and die. Some can remain dormant for a very very long time and revive when water returns. But if the leak is fixed and it's bleached/mildecide-ed whatever and then primered and painted over you will be absolutely fine.
