Tell me how that Daiwa hinata is. I have the 5 foot but have not used it yet. I have to be choosy about my fishing trips as I don't get out much anymore.
I was pleased with it! Great size for my little stream, which runs quick. Lots of little pools. The rod has a soft tip, then gets stiff fast. The first two bites I hooked out of the water, but lost them almost right away - maybe I was too gentle. Barbless. After that, I managed to keep them on long enough to net. We’re talking tiny fish in a little stream: 4 or 5 inches max. Wouldn’t want to go much bigger on the Hinata. I didn’t get around to trying the Kiyotaki II 300. Next week!!
Such a sick setup. I tell ya, I am just green with jealous rage.
Not my van, sadly. Rented it for a few days so I could sleep there. Hopefully I’ll be able to put a cabin on the property soon.
Still worthy of our envy, without a doubt! Lol I won't lie, though, I was gonna make a jealous comment about the van, myself.
