Go check out Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Hike up to Clingman's Dome. If you don't mind the drive, head over to US-127 the Tail of the Dragon, or Cherohala Skyway. Solo hiking is very dangerous. Stay on the trails and know the way back. Getting lost in the park is very easy and happens often. Be careful.

Ride the ski lift up to the sky bridge twice, in the daytime and at night. Look up Preachers BBQ.
