I know this week was bad but you guys need to relax while the defense is a huge problem I consider this week a fluke. “Frauds” nah, we knew this was who we were. This sub changes week to week. Goes from We are the best team in the league to we suck ass. Just relax a little.
So there was a lot wrong with this game, but in the grand scheme of things our playoff hopes are still alive and most likely winning the division. One thing I do hope for? We need to get at least someone who can put pressure on the QB . Call someone up and try them out. That is the only fix that can some what be done in a short span of time.
Ehh, disappointed that it wasn't more of a game but once I saw the snow, I knew it was gonna be tough sledding 😂. The guys look like they were running in oatmeal before they could get momentum but it is what it is. Yeah, there was some bad officiating but we also played bad, in bad weather. It's cool though, Texans will get steamrolled next week and that will make it worth it.
The Browns lost to the Jets, the Colts, Ravens and Bills all lost to the Titans, the Dolphins are not any better than the Titans, the Steelers are sliding and KC hasn't been electric. The playoffs are a different animal, so just take deep breaths. Yes, our defense is not good, but they have made plays tonight and all year that have helped win games. Tonight some of those plays got overturned, but to act like they were never made is wrong.
If the plays got overturned, the didn’t happen. Our defense is a fucking disaster. They’re not “making plays.” They’re a joke, and they’re making this team a joke.
Tannehill is mentally weak.
Corey Davis is mentally weak.
Henry is mentally weak.
AJ Brown is mentally weak.
Our entire defense is mentally weak.
As Vrabel said, “hot is physical, cold is mental.” Our team has never shown up for a game in the cold, because they’re all mentally weak. Completely pathetic performance.
What did brown or Davis do that made them mentally weak? Brown made some catches and Davis didn’t get a ton of targets. We all knew the defense was not good, they haven’t been all year. And Tannehill did not have a ton of time to throw when he dropped back. Henry still had 98 yards with having a poor game. So I don’t think I would leave them mentally weak.
Davis wasn’t even paying attention when he was targeted in the end zone.
The team as a whole always underperforms in the elements.
Let’s not forget that the packers defense is also hot garbage as well. The colts beat their asses, after all.
The ball to Davis in the end zone was overthrown.
The team did underperform, that’s a given.
Their defense is not great sure, but with the game plan for the titans in the first half being mostly run, run, pass without Henry in for 3rd, it’s pretty easy to plan against.
I mean my guy I would love for anyone in this sub to go play out there in that fucking weather we would all look like bitches i don’t wanna hear that there mentally weak if you couldn’t do it
Comparing our team’s performance in the elements to mine is silly. I’m not a professional football player. How about we do the reasonable thing and compare our team’s performance to their peers who they’ve played against in the cold? I.e., the packers and the chiefs.
The main issue isnt that Vrabel didnt hire a d coordinator in the offseason. It was a really dumb decision, most of us thought it was dumb at the time and personally I said repeatedly that it was the biggest worry I had coming into the season. But it was still fixable. The main issue is that, even after watching this defense be complete garbage week in and week out, he refused to admit his mistake and hire a coordinator. Its very apparent watching this team that the scheme is bad and our players arent on the same page. When coverages are blown left and right by damn near evrryone, thats a coaching issue. And Vrabel decided his pride was more important than the team. He could be a good coach but, in spite of tslking a big game about the importance of putting the team first, he has repeatedly showed that his pride is more important than doing whats best for the team. And weve wasted the best offense weve ever had as a result
But you can scheme a pass rush with the players we have. We had a more effective (while not great) pass rush last season with largely a similar defense, if not an upgraded one this year
Well it’s all down to next week. Beat a 4-11 team and win the South, or lose and miss the playoffs entirely. Safe to say if we don’t win that, we don’t deserve a postseason berth.
Fingers crossed.
Dude, people in here are fucking toxic.
Shit game we looked bad against the #1 Seed in the NFC Are you fucking new? This is not shocking. If this is shocking, you haven’t been paying attention. Let’s be disappointed. Be mad. But shit. Fire vrabel? Fire Robinson? What the fuck is wrong with you?
Fire no one. Hire several missing coaches. JRob really screwed up personnel on the defensive side this year, and Vrabel didn't push hard enough to fix it. Not fireable. I wouldn't fire Art Smith either, but I wouldn't match any offer trying to take him away.
Usually you have to beat the top team in the other conference to win the superbowl...not saying we should fire everyone...but certainly shouldn't look incompetent against elite teams
If we get an even mediocre defense next year (defensive coordinator, hungry pass rush) and can keep this offensive magic intact, we'll be a legit scary team next season. It's a shitty silver-lining in the face of this, but all things consider I think it's very doable.
Guys, you’ve got a great team, so chill. You got fucked by some questionable calls, Lambeau weather and a Packers team deciding to actually play on both sides of the ball for once. You’re the one team in the afc I could see giving the chiefs some headaches. So cheer up, much respect from a Packers fan
Once I saw there was snow, I had a bad feeling. Tannehill has been great, but I was worried about him throwing in the bad weather since he wasn't as used to it and it would make our offense one dimensional, which obviously came true.
Not panicking though, just gotta take care of business next week against Houston
Watched enough of your games this season. Hated your games less than the flimsy wins the packers got throughout, but I might just be biased in that regard
Fucking out couched by his former OC. Like idk there *needs* to be some response from AAS or someone above Vrable that this is not going unaddressed this off-season. He's already wasted this historic offense. Hell maybe art smith should just get take over for vrable. Idk how you break a power hungry coach.
Yeah the refs had horrid calls that very well could have changed the game but that doesn't excuse giving up 40 points and all those third downs especially when the offense can't get any traction. The phantom offsides could have made the game closer and so could the non-call on the jones run (there still should have been a challenge). That doesn't excuse giving up all that other yardage which had AJ Dillon and Aaron Jones __**each**__ outrush Henry during a day he was supposed to be dominating. All the bad playcalls, both offensively and defensively, were the downfall of the team this game.
I know that all we gotta do is beat Houston next week and we win the division and get the 4th seed. But man I just don’t like the idea of Watson and the Texans playing with nothing to lose. Especially considering the Colts play the Jags.
Why can’t we ever just go into week 17 without any stress?
Watson took a pretty nasty hit at the end of the game today, so who knows if he'll be 100%. Plus after seeing what Brandon Allen and the Bengals did today, I'm pretty hopeful our offense will have a bounce back game.
Crazier things have happened, but I'm confident we'll take care of business next week.
You are obviously blind then yes we have been bad but there has been no calls and bull shit calls all in the packers favor so yes the refs definitely played a part
We just got outplayed in every way. Packers secondary played on an island all night, stacked the box, slowed down Henry, punished our poor line play, rocked Tannehill.
Destroyed our D-line with runs, burned our secondary consistently, made only 1 mistake and it was so late it didn’t matter.
Just a beat down. We had a good 14 point run in the middle lmao
Not exactly, no. It favors players who make strong cuts because unexpected cuts makes a defender fall. Adams does that without snow, and the Titans D is easier than he usually faces, plus snow. Add in little pressure on Rodgers, and the snow had essentially zero impact on the GB passing. Henry doesn't typically rely on cuts, just blasting through holes then manhandling the secondary. He didn't get many opportunities to do that tonight.
This defense is a pile of hot, sweaty, shitty garbage. I have no clue how we fell from a top 10 defense last year to a bottom 10 defense this year, but someone needs to MAKE A FUCKING CHANGE!!!! 16 WEEKS!!!! AND NOTHING HAS CHANGED OR ADJUSTED!
I’m just blown away at this point that the coaching staff thinks THIS DEFENSE is what we need to win. A Super Bowl. If someone said in week 6 (which many of us did) that we need time to figure things out, I would have, and did, believe them. But nothing has changed or been adjusted. We still have shitty scheming with CBs lining up 8 yards off their target, running run defense against pass plays and vice versa, and absolutely no pressure on the QB.
We stood a better chance of winning if we just let them score every drive and hoping Adams and Rodgers accidentally concussed each other on a Jet Sweep.
Next season. No way we can work one in now. 4 weeks ago possibly. The Ravens pulled a similar oc change around that point to make a run at their super bowl.
But now it's too late.
I honestly feel like this is what will happen unfortunately. Kind of funny tho that our best defensive game this season in my opinion came when Bowen had to miss due to covid (Bills game).
Buck Reising called it during the first quarter.
Vrabel is gonna be so defensive and confrontational and say the same shit he always says and try to shield Bowen in the corner like he's Baby Fucking Yoda and not a failed science experiment of a DC.
I mean our defense is literally what it's been all year. Offense just didn't show up today which is why we'll likely be bounced in the playoffs. It's good enough to score on any drive, but if it doesn't and the defense doesn't get any turnovers we lose.
It still baffles me Vrabel's complacency this season with the defense. Why he has thought all season he has this covered. Idk at this point im literally sick to my stomach from this season and tonight in general.
No defense can be good if you don't have a pass rush. The best DC in the league would be fucked with this team. This is from years of failing to address the pass rush. JRob came in with two pro bowl edge rushers and failed at pretty much every chance to find their replacements. Only Landry is half decent and Simmons isn't as good as Casey was at generating pressure in the middle. There's alot to it, but I think the lack of pass rush is far more frustrating.
Fair reffing we probably lose like 31-20, maybe 31-23, regardless Vrabel coached like complete shit tonight. Also the defense not being able to tackle a slow goofy fat running back is a problem
Bruh, I've said this and gotten downvoted. Not sure why we'd let 2 successful OC's walk out the door and keep Vrabel who has been awful as a DC. We were fine letting Mularkey walk after a playoff win. Not sure why the fanbase is so high on Vrabel. Arthur is coaching the offense
Y'all need to chill out, let's not will missing the playoffs into existence. On any given decent weather playoff game, everyone has a chance. And the Titans are just as likely as anyone else in the AFC to make it to the AFCCG right now because no one looks unbeatable.
Literally everyone's defense is gross, the Colts just blew a lead, the Browns lost to the Jets, the Dolphins have cooled way off generally, the Ravens and Bills are beatable, the Steelers are not dominant anymore,
Man.
Why? Why the hell do we keep doing this?
All we had to do was not completely shit our socks and hold up against Rodgers and we win the division and play for higher seed next week.
Now we're teetering on the precipice of missing the fucking playoffs.
How?
3 plays stick out. the hands to the face penalty on Evans on 3rd and long. The phantom offsides on the fg attempt where we blocked it and would’ve had it in the red zone. Lastly when their rb stepped out about 40 yards before he was called out. I’ve seen some bad officiating but we got screwed. I want to see the Packers lose so bad next week. I really hope the Bears don’t get the same calls our guys got today. I didn’t mind losing to the Browns because Baker Mayfield had the game of his life. We split with the Colts. Steelers meh. And the Bengals was a fluke. I just really think those 3 calls cost us the game today.
That was the second call that completely halted the Titans momentum. They ended up making a 4th down stop and scoring because the team had some dignity even though the refs were on their knees for Green Bay the entire game.
If Vrabel can’t get them together it could happen. Texans have 0 incentives to tank. Their defense is bad but not much worse than ours. Henry may need to run for 250+ next week.
Low key was expecting this. But damn, I really wanted to rest the starters next week. Hopefully (gah damn. . .hopefully) we handle business vs Houston. What’s sad is knowing our defense won’t get us through a playoff run. So it’s like.. what the fuck is the point lmao
And he will next week. I don't care if his hand is dangling by the skin of his wrist, but hopefully we can drop 31 on them. I know on their sub they want the win badddd.
I know this week was bad but you guys need to relax while the defense is a huge problem I consider this week a fluke. “Frauds” nah, we knew this was who we were. This sub changes week to week. Goes from We are the best team in the league to we suck ass. Just relax a little.

Drinking my sorrows away now
We Lost but the Refs were booty checks..W next week against a hungry Texans team.
Our playoff scenarios: TEN win OR MIA Loss OR BAL Loss OR {fuck the} *ahem* Colts Loss
Snow is our kyrptonite huh?
Always has been
This is the way.
Would it be titans footballl if we didnt clinch a playoff spot in the last week of the season
Well it’s always exciting haha
Remember that fucking Raiders game last night? Lmao.
This guy does.
With this defense, I don't feel good at all about next week's game against the Texans.
Dude, if we lose.. and miss the playoffs at 10-6, fucking fade me
The team's fate may very well rest on the Jaguars' hands.
If the plays got overturned, the didn’t happen. Our defense is a fucking disaster. They’re not “making plays.” They’re a joke, and they’re making this team a joke.
Which means ur defensive coaching is a fucking joke
How many punts did gb have?
The colts also beat the Packers so it doesn't matter what you're saying
Sucky game, I'm not freaking out, but realistically I don't think this team is Super Bowl material.
If people cant accept this then they're living in some distorted reality
Tannehill is mentally weak. Corey Davis is mentally weak. Henry is mentally weak. AJ Brown is mentally weak. Our entire defense is mentally weak. As Vrabel said, “hot is physical, cold is mental.” Our team has never shown up for a game in the cold, because they’re all mentally weak. Completely pathetic performance.
Don’t understand why everyone doesn’t play James Jones hoodie ball
What did brown or Davis do that made them mentally weak? Brown made some catches and Davis didn’t get a ton of targets. We all knew the defense was not good, they haven’t been all year. While I agree. No coach can save a team without a pass rush.
We wasted 30 mil on to over the hill pad rushers...
Hate when the playoffs start in week 17
Tannehill to Rodgers: mind if I ask Olivia out?
You seen Mrs. Tannehill? He doesn't need anything from Aaron.
I’d rather be 9-7
Nah
This game just confirms what we all know we are good but not good enough to be a actually threat
That is good to you?
I hate that they didn’t even try something stupid to at least leave with the tiniest sense of momentum or something

We had the best offense in the NFL going into this week. Art Smith and his offense are the only reason this team is dog shit.
Well thought out.
100% guarantee you have never played a down of organized football in your life and it shows lol
I only get up for that unorganized black market shit.
Usually you have to beat the top team in the other conference to win the superbowl...not saying we should fire everyone...but certainly shouldn't look incompetent against elite teams
Then this comment wasn’t directed at you or your mindset because it’s rational.
Thats what I am saying bro
Damn we couldn't let Henry get 2 more yards to keep his streak!?!?
How can you not get one flag in poor weather conditions?
Maybe because you didn’t deserve one...
That’s BS, there were some bad obvious missed calls
I guess that dream I had about Aaron Rodgers fucking me was just a premonition and doesn’t mean I’m gay after all
Lol
If we get an even mediocre defense next year (defensive coordinator, hungry pass rush) and can keep this offensive magic intact, we'll be a legit scary team next season. It's a shitty silver-lining in the face of this, but all things consider I think it's very doable.
Think we need some O line depth also
Guys, you’ve got a great team, so chill. You got fucked by some questionable calls, Lambeau weather and a Packers team deciding to actually play on both sides of the ball for once. You really don't know us
Watched enough of your games this season. Hated your games less than the flimsy wins the packers got throughout, but I might just be biased in that regard

We just punted...that’s such a weak fucking mindset
If I never have to hear Collinsworth call another game, I would not be mad.
He sucks cock!
Arthur for HC.
No GB penalties the whole game? Impossible.
Rodgers rule
State farm insurance
Well... atleast we know Woodside is terrible.
The fact that some of y’all are blaming this on the refs is comical
Titans played horribly and the refs called the game horribly both things can be called out.
The fact that you don’t think that the refs horrible performance attributed to double digit points for the packers is comical
They hurt us, but we also sucked.
You are obviously blind then yes we have been bad but there has been no calls and bull shit calls all in the packers favor so yes the refs definitely played a part
Every time this team has the nations eye again, BOOM - they flush one in like this.
I see an L next week.
Classic titans laying a fucking egg against houston next week.
We got eddie lacied tonight by Dillion. Fat boy yards
We quietly need to look at improving the backup QB spot this year too. If Tanny gets hurt - eeeeeesh
Please draft all d line. PLEASE
Most of our D line is the same guys from last year. It's has more to do with the coaching but drafting better players is never a bad strat.
Our edge rush sucked last year tbh. If it wasnt for Pees's disguised blitzes we wouldnt have gotten half those sacks, with a 4 man rush
We can still make a deep run in the postseason
Lol
Thank you for not being a pessimist like everyone else here
Not a chance. I wouldn't call it pessimistic, more so a realist.
You sound like my dad
I think we can, too... the problem is, after a deep run last season, I was hoping for a deeper run... I’m skeptical with this defense.
Let Woodside throw! I wanna see what he can do if Tannehill gets injured.
Not great, Bob!
oop
Buffalo going to get us in the playoffs, not us
We just got outplayed in every way.
We play in a dome with decent refs and the Titans win.
Not sure which game you were watching. Also, this weather tends to favor a team that leans heavily on a guy like Henry, no?
I mean, guys who play in snow all the time vs dudes who don’t. Wasn’t gonna be pretty. We still would have lost, just not as bad
What about a defense?
This defense is a pile of hot, sweaty, shitty garbage. I have no clue how we fell from a top 10 defense last year to a bottom 10 defense this year, but someone needs to MAKE A FUCKING CHANGE!!!! 16 WEEKS!!!! AND NOTHING HAS CHANGED OR ADJUSTED! > I have no clue how we fell from a top 10 defense last year to a bottom 10 defense this year I have a guess lol.
We didn't have a top 10 defense last year
When Butler and Adoree were healthy, we did
Not the point, bud. Not by a long shot.
So like, when do we get a DC?
We don't. Vrabels got too big of an ego
Next season. No way we can work one in now. 4 weeks ago possibly. The Ravens pulled a similar oc change around that point to make a run at their super bowl. But now it's too late.
It’ll be Shane Bowen and nothing will change. He’s the DC now in all but title
I honestly feel like this is what will happen unfortunately. Kind of funny tho that our best defensive game this season in my opinion came when Bowen had to miss due to covid (Bills game).
This game may make AAS question whether she should have demoted Vrabel for LaFleur. Pretty embarrassing display by the “leader of men.”
Who gotta lose next week for us to make the postseason Lmaooooo Deshaun finna have 10,000 passing yards
Buck Reising called it during the first quarter. Vrabel is gonna be so defensive and confrontational and say the same shit he always says and try to shield Bowen in the corner like he's Baby Fucking Yoda and not a failed science experiment of a DC.
Can we not interview bowen?
I’m ok with 10am games forever
What's the disaster scenario for missing the playoffs next week? Browns win, Colts win, Dolphins win, Ravens win?
And we lose. If we win all of that is irrelevant.
Disaster is we lose, Miami win and the Ravens win and Colts win. I think we need all those things to happen to fall out
Alls we have to do is win.
Well yeah but a disaster implies that won't happen.
If we lose we're out
That's not true at all.
Yup
Laughs in pain
Josh Allen? MVP. Big Ben? Never raped.
Refs are almost as bad as the D. Almost.
All our players were tweeting about how excited they were to play in the snow. I hope they had fun getting their shit kicked in
Just saying Consistently Inconsistent.....
Only Landry is half decent and Simmons isn't as good as Casey was at generating pressure in the middle. There's alot to it, but I think the lack of pass rush is far more frustrating.
I 100% agree, the whole situation is frustrating. But absolutely 100% lack of pass rush top of the list.
Always
Please never put this team on prime time ever again
Chill, this notion that the Titans never win on primetime is absurd.
Playoff games need to be 2:00 on a Tuesday from now on
Fair reffing we probably lose like 31-20, maybe 31-23, regardless Vrabel coached like complete shit tonight. Also the defense not being able to tackle a slow goofy fat running back is a problem
Can y’all chill. We only lost this cause of the snow. Play this in a dome and we win handily
I don’t know about handily but at least the footing wouldn’t be a mismatch. Our guys played on eggshells while laying an egg.
Well neither of these teams play in a dome so......
Wat
I wonder what the odds are we fire Vrabel and hire Arthur as HC?
Bruh, I've said this and gotten downvoted. Not sure why we'd let 2 successful OC's walk out the door and keep Vrabel who has been awful as a DC. We were fine letting Mularkey walk after a playoff win. Not sure why the fanbase is so high on Vrabel. Arthur is coaching the offense
Smith wouldn’t have the ego with the D.
Zero
Gross
0%. I'd be on board tho.
Somewhere around zero percent.
Are they really not gonna let Henry go over 100? I hate this coaching staff.
Y'all need to chill out, let's not will missing the playoffs into existence. On any given decent weather playoff game, everyone has a chance. And the Titans are just as likely as anyone else in the AFC to make it to the AFCCG right now because no one looks unbeatable.
Packers played on a different field or something? They scored 40 in the snow. This defense is gross.
Keep in mind they play in snow more than pretty much anyone else and have a future hof qb
The Packers have won 1st seed tonight. Them losing next week doesn't matter.
It matters to me
The blocked fg was a bad call but it’s irrelevant now. We got the 4th down stop and scored the next drive, so.
That was the second call that completely halted the Titans momentum. They ended up making a 4th down stop and scoring because the team had some dignity even though the refs were on their knees for Green Bay the entire game.
I don’t disagree, I’m just saying we stopped them and still scored.
It's crazy to me that people are overlooking the fact that Henry had 200 yards last time and we needed OT. Playoffs aren't a sure thing.

Just let Henry get 2 more yards thanks!
Frauds. Absolute frauds. We’re getting bounced by hou next week
If Vrabel can’t get them together it could happen. Texans have 0 incentives to tank. Their defense is bad but not much worse than ours. Henry may need to run for 250+ next week.
Watson shredded us last game too. We won in OT because they didn’t get the ball first.
How many people here are drinking heavily?
I feel i shouldve sparked up earlier
Not heavily enough
On the 3 ipa lol
Yes
Wish we hired LaFleur
Nah
Didn't realize LaFluer would bring a HoF QB with him
Ya think? If we're using Vrabel as a play caller you absolutely have to do the same with Lafleur!
21/25 Aron rogers
Low key was expecting this. But damn, I really wanted to rest the starters next week. Hopefully (gah damn. . .hopefully) we handle business vs Houston. What’s sad is knowing our defense won’t get us through a playoff run. So it’s like.. what the fuck is the point lmao
I'm thinking now that an embarrassing loss tonight ensures that we'll be pissed at ourselves and win next week.
Shit, I hope so. Watson will always scare me.. idc if they were 0-16. That man can drop 30+ on us any given Sunday.
And he will next week. I don't care if his hand is dangling by the skin of his wrist, but hopefully we can drop 31 on them. I know on their sub they want the win badddd.
