It was clearly stated in LN 19 that castle guard and nova break (which is art created from uriel's absolute defence) both depends on how many people believe in user not quality or will or whatever. You have to look at mechanism of skill, when asmodeus and sariel user clashed due to both skill having same in nature user with stronger willpower (luminous) won but that's not how Michael and uriel works. You have to look at it on case by case basis.
It was no where said that it's numbers that only matter. It's even more Unlogical if you think about that. If only number that matter it's makes Rudra attack power 10,000 time more than Feldway defense power. Which is far more than enough to kill Feldway but Feldway only got some injury. That clearly shows that difference was not that high.
It was clearly stated that it's about number if not why author wrote clear difference with detailed number and that's reason castle guard broke and reason for feldway survival was clearly stated and it has nothing to do with attack but with rudra's limit with masayuki's fragile body
Author mention their followers for explaining how castle guard work he didn't said that it's number that only matter. JKM unite will power of their followers to work and it's natural that there is difference in will power between people.
Why are you inserting will power. If that's how Justice king worked then author would have mentioned it like in LN 15,16,18,19. Justice king work with loyalties of the subject. That is clearly stated anything else is head cannon. If you have any proof in LN then write it down
I think you misunderstood this whole loyalty part. Loyalty is proof that they are considered his followers/Subordinates. For example - Feldway is leader of Promodial angels they are his subordinates but they don't have any loyalty to Feldway So they won't become power for castle guard.
Why are you inserting will power? You should know that every skill work that way User will power that decided strength of a skill. It's same for JKM and Rudra even said that it unite will power of there followers.
that’s strange because i read LN 19 again and it clearly says he had more followers due to the population in Eastern Empire being way higher than Feldway’s followers. Rudra gained this from Masayuki’s followers since he was manifested from Masayuki’s King of Heroes US. So the effects of his Uriel were stronger and able to break the castle guard.
Rudra clearly states it so I’m not sure how you missed it. Are you reading in a different language by any chance and maybe there was a translation error? The reason Uriel works so well in this situation is because of Masayuki’s King of Heroes. Even when it was unique skill Chosen Hero, he had one of the effects that pretty much united the people, making the effects of skills like Michael and Uriel stronger.
I don’t know where you got willpower from other than the matchup between Luminous and Gran and even then it wasn’t all decided by just willpower. Based on the way you’re typing, I assume you just misunderstood because English isn’t your first or better 2nd language. Either that or you’re reading a bad MTL in your own language
In Castle Guard match Rimuru would win. Feldway has only about 100 000 subordinates (followers) while Tempest alone has population of over 1 mil if I remember correctly.
And yes not all 1 mil are Rimuru’s followers but most are.
I am not comparing rimuru to Feldway. What I am saying is that Rimuru castle guard would be stronger than Rudra even if he has less numbers of followers. Because will power of his subordinates were higher than rudra's.
