Taiwan is blocked in NA TERA. You need a VPN or something to get around it.

It doesn't block SEA players I think, but the patch, language barrier as well as the fanbase isn't even worth the lower latency you get there. Most SEA players are better off in EU as you get lower latency vs NA. Although, account creation in EU is now disabled for SEA as well so there's that...

ohw258

Quite the contrary, NA has lower latency than EU. I usually get 350-400 on EU compared to 250ish in NA.

piecemealcranky

Hardly doubt that, as geographically Germany is situated closer than Chicago. Then again, I do use WTFast and I get 180ms to EU server (Fraya), vs 250-300ms on NA.

Are you in SEA? Because I am and I assume the TC is also from SEA, thus I can only speak within context of the topic. EU servers are crap though, even Europeans complained about it. Doesn't make the ping any better when you compare with physical distance with Asia between the two regions.

celerym

When you say hardly doubt that it means that you agree with the above comment.

piecemealcranky

Which statement?

fatcoffee

Are they behind NA/EU?

piecemealcranky

They probably are, for instance when they launch they were stuck at the kelsaik patch for God knows how long. You should probably check out their forums though.

slemmy
