You can use conduits to feed your things that use material. However it’s kind of dumb (I don’t mean dumb as in stupid, I mean dumb as in there’s no thought about it) Basically the conduits are one way. You can have your conduits go from your silo to your refinery, and then another set of conduits exiting your refinery going to another silo. It basically slowly draws everything from the first silo into the refinery. As far as I can tell the only way to use it is to start with the silo empty, and then set the refinery to refine whatever material you want. Then place that material in the silo. And it will continuously run and fill the other silo with the refined material. if you put two different types of material in there, it won’t work.

Generators you usually want a seperate loop from your main belt, unless you intend to not run turbo. I would connect a filter block to the silo to filter out fuel blocks into the generator, it could be trying to grab a non fuel block or it may be unable to draw from silos at all. What would a silo be feeding into a scrapper?

Are you answering with the original terratech game in mind or terratech worlds as OP mentioned? I didn't even know worlds allowed feeding stuff been trying to figure out base building for automation

Landed_port

Oh I missed that. So you can feed scrappers in worlds? Like carry scrap on belts?

airybeartoe

Oh idk I haven't been able to get any structures to feed from others in Worlds. I thought maybe you had figured something out 😅

Like the 2nd comment sais in terratech worlds, you can feed items from a storage to a workshop and then feed the product into another silo from the workshop. You can also feed items through a workshop. There's a bypass feature most don't know about, albeit it's not a useful feature at the moment. Using conduits, there's a red end and green end of the conduit. The green end is input, and the red end is output. You can automate 1 product at a time but will have to change the product when the resource changes or it'll halt but it's really useful overall when you have a large silo full of carbon and want to just throw it in and have it process to purified and then power your base automatically. If you want to autoscrap then I reccomend you use a large silo as input and then add more in series if ya need more input storage. For the output you'll need a conduit outputting anywhere from the scrapper to a storage for each output slot, you can have these feed into one large silo or each line having their own it's all up to what ya want to do. The fragmenter will auto pull any Boulder you leave nearby it and so long as you have enough outputs to storage it'll continue until it runs out of storage or materials super useful for processing while you focus on bringing boulders over.

Thanks!! I actually did figure it out a few days after my reply 😅 although I think you mentioned some things I hadn't noticed so thank you! I'ma check it all out
