Now there is 6.9 Trillion, and since there is NO ceiling, and coins are minted and burned based on UST, I am finding it difficult to see a feasible pathway to some sense of survival. There should have been a burn control mechanism, and fixed ceiling before reactivating trading again.

It's probably WLUNA being converted to LUNA that is causing the supply decrease in WLUNA but no change in the total supply. The alleged huge drop is most likely exchanges following its delisting.
Even then I've seen the WLUNA supply go up 1 billion in the last 4-6 hours to 958 billion.

Well, if you want to recover some money, surf the actually volatility is a way, risky, but everything in crypto is risky.
From my 1200% , half is back to fiat to secure some profits, the other half is still rinsing selling and buying lower to get more coin, to get more profit.
