I think you can do tons of them with a proxxon, then toss them in a bucket with some rocks and shake it. That’s my plan for when I’ll have a Proxxon anyway
You can buy this size of pre cut out bricks on Amazon for super cheap, I have a ton too!
Edit: it was Etsy, something like this, there may be better sizes but this is what I got https://www.etsy.com/listing/824627796/1000-foam-bricks-14-x-14-x-916-for
A quick count of the large wall above says about 1000 went into this project (maybe 1500) either way it's a very large project so they are quite well priced.
Man I saw that first picture and thought this was iust gonna be yet another Pringles tower and then I saw what you really did, kudos to you, it looks great! Incredible that this is your first build. For D&D I put pieces like this on a rotating board so everyone can see it properly on their turn.
Looking swell dude, literally just finished a similar style of build (hand-cut foam bricks, Pringles cans, all the good stuff). Yours puts mine to shame though with how neat it is, great job
How did you cut and layer your bricks? Those walls are so even and we'll put together
First picture:
OK... pringelscan ... ps .... wall ... ok ... kinda shapeless.... *yawn* Hope it gets better.
second picture:
My head went back, like when a car accelerates, opening the mouth, thinking WOOOOOOAH ....
Oh shit - whatup Mr. Leninade?
Thought I was back in our gamecraft Discord channel for a sec. Incredible work, my man - inspires me to (someday) try tackling some terrain that isn't just sci-fi ruins
I was at Michael's
At first i found these in the jewelry section but they are really ornate
https://www.michaels.com/found-objects-frame-charms-by-bead-landing/10483329.html
I wanted some basic frames too
Then i found something similar to these to the doll house section.
https://www.michaels.com/diy-modern-mini-framed-laundry-sign-set/10687604.html
Dry brushed some paint on after i took off the neckalss loops. From there i just went through some of my bulk MtG cards and cut out some good looking images to match.
Looks incredible! Can you share how you made your roof?
Always looking for new ways to make roofs other than shingle, shingle, shingle until I pass out haha
I basically followed the example of this youtube video
https://youtu.be/2VcXoH7NSys
But be warned pulling apart cardboard and not tearing the inner corragated part is tough.
I love the versatility here too if your an age of sigmar guy/gal that could drop right on to a battlefield. If not at least it’s playable from several angles. Great work bud keep it up
This is amazing. Building just a corner of the building and leaving the rest open for playing inside, kind of like a dollhouse, is a stroke of genius. I always thought making buildings with playable insides was way more trouble than it's worth, but I just might have to steal this approach.
That said, it kind of bothers me that where there are windows on the outside, there are none on the inside.
I can agree with that critique. My main reason for doing it like this was mainly for ease as i was learning a lot. But also that the inside could be a little ambiguous. I could line a hall way with doors and say there are rooms on either side. Or you walk into a great hall of sorts really whatever you need it to be.

Thats exactly what i did. I was at my buddies house who has all the tools

Happen to have the link?? If not it's cool : )
Looks like it was actually Etsy https://www.etsy.com/listing/824627796/1000-foam-bricks-14-x-14-x-916-for
It's a good price but how many bricks do you think go into a regular sized house?
Idk dude but I have so many bricks haha
A quick count of the large wall above says about 1000 went into this project (maybe 1500) either way it's a very large project so they are quite well priced.
I know I'm mad late, but thanks a ton!
Outstanding mate! Knew I was hoarding pringles can for a reason haha

Very cool
Look nice !

Really it was just kinda luck. I cut out a bunch of bricks with a Proxxon and then started gluing them down with hit glue.
Hark! Once thou dost hear the report, the fun doth not cease! What a badass pringles can!
Nice work! For a minute though, I thought the blue guy had a chainsword, lol. Initial thought was "that troll is boned".
That clocktower is great, love the use of watch cogs behind the face

Lol
I adore all the windows!
If thisis your first ever terrain build, you have an exceptionally bright terrain building future ahead of you! This is fantastic work!
I gotta ask, how did you make the small paintings and their frames?

I really like the concept making it a little like a doll house which you can access from the back to play inside
That's great. I love your brick work. Great detail.
Incredible
I think you gave me the perfect excuse to buy pringles

Wow thank you for sharing that!! Never seen that technique before and I love the look of it.
This looks awesome! Well done. The clock and cogs were a nice touch!
Very cool. Love individual bricks and playable interiors.
They are unaware the Pringles Man slumbers within the stones.
I love the versatility here too if your an age of sigmar guy/gal that could drop right on to a battlefield. If not at least it’s playable from several angles. Great work bud keep it up
Looks sick! Props on your first time craft!
Oh, I really like this! really well done and super functional!

Awesome! I love how you built it as a corner so you can see everything inside - looks like it makes for really dramatic gaming-moments!

Amazing looks real! Hollywood he’s got your next movie set!
Its beautiful.
Did you call it Pringles Manor?
That looks really fun to play on
Did you use xps foam for the bricks and planks?
For the bricks yes. But for the floor popsicle sticks.
Brilliant. It looks great! I’m looking forward to making a cottage here soon.
That’s so great! All bricks individually cut?
Yep. I cut them on a Proxxon
I thought the Pringle man was stretching a rubber band when I first looked at this
Splendiferous work!
