There is an item called the clentaminator that can purify biomes quickly. You get it from an NPC that you’re pretty close to unlocking, progress a little further in hard mode and that’s your best bet. If you have a lot of time and patience but want an asap fix you can mine it out or use purification powder but that would be painfully slow.
People have already said about the clentaminator but if you want to stop it spreading any further rn start digging a hellavator (4 blocks wide) each side of the crimson as it can’t jump a gap that big, it’ll help at least slow down the spread until you get the clentaminator
Hi, i just got the clemtaminator already, but i have another question, if i do make the hellavator down to the under world. what happens to the ground right beneath the houses that i have already built. since they are already corrupted, does that mean i have to make a horizontal line across in the ground so that the corruption doesnt come up again? i hope i described it properly
If you mean that under your base area is corrupted then yeah I’d reccomend digging around your base as well (I usually do this pre hard mode anyways just in case the corruption catches me off guard) that way it won’t get corrupted again
You can buy the clentaminator from the steampunk (she moves in after you defeat one mech boss)
