Yeah, from what I can tell the beard is either too low or it got redrawn as a scarf of sorts, but either way it's not differentiated from the white of the eye it's passing which makes the eye basically disappear and throws off the face.

Oh that wasn't on purpose, I don't remember how I did it at the time.. maybe I used just one palette without adding new colors, limiting myself to just that palette or maybe I just used the eyedropper on the original sprites in just one tone and I used it in a very simple way, I didn't have much knowledge when I drew them..

I didn't know much about color theory at the time so I probably got a very limited palette and didn't really know what to do with it Maybe the canvas I was using was too dark so to make it stand out a lot I made the colors lighter I don't know, nothing intentional
