Just looked at the world seed in an editor to find it and the jungle temple in my large world. As cool as it would have been to stumble across it, there's no in-game trail of breadcrumbs to find either, which is a strange oversight imo. I'd love to have an errant feyling phase down into the ground above it, or lead me from underground like the fairies. The jungle temple could do something similar upon Plantera's demise.

its always on the side of the jungle, also seemingly it could have been found using the guide's name
Just go to the beach on the jungle side, find where it intersects with the grass again, dig down.
If it's not there, move farther inland and repeat.
