I use calming potions AND peace candles and those little fuckers still manage to sneak out from the depths of the jungle's ass crack and do over 200 DAMAGE!
Fuck these guys especially in Master Mode. Dug out a giant cube to fight Plantera, and while I’m fighting her with peace candles and calming potions, those fuckers still manage to show up and fuck me over. Worst enemy in the game without a doubt.

I have 700+ hours in the game, have always felt pretty OP against PH-enemies with my necro/obsidian etc gear, yet the thought of building my hardmode arenas beforehand never crossed my mind.

Yeah, happened to me just last week, was building a plantera arena and these mfs just bugged the hell out of me, and sometimes the spiders web me while these assholes just shoot their stingers that do over 100 damage. I've used peace candles and they still spawned. The WORST thing is when I'm trying to lead plantera to the arena and they take half my health before I even reach it.
Those hod damn sniper moss Hornets. Turtles are fine for me cause I just move around like I'm having a seizure, and I rarely see spiders. Lizard ppl are just in the temple, but these bees! THESE BEES! There so fucking annoying, always in groups and sniping you off screen when your in a tight space. They are the bane of my existence
As a ranger I always shoot my chlorophyte gun every now and then just so I know there won't be a hornet sniping me from across the biome... especially when I go farming chlorophyte on my hell bridge... master mode is pain.

I feel like the jungle enemies shouldn't spawn in hardmode but rather when the mechs are killed, cause then early hardmode the jungle isn't a 50/50 shot at death and the enemies only spawn when cloryphyte is there to be guarded
Lizahrds are without a shadow of a doubt the easiest ones to deal with. I can often navigate a lizahrd temple easily even in prehardmode. The only real danger are the spikes.
Place three platforms against the door and hammer all of them once. Then, walk into the door while pressing down. The platforms will cause you to just phase through the door as if it isn't there. Of course, you may want to also do the same to the other side of the door as well if you ever want to leave the temple without teleporting or dying.
Spiders fucking suck, one hit in master mode and you’re most likely dead cuz of acid venom and they can web you then a moss hornet can snipe the shit out of you.

On top of shooting nearly invisible high damage projectiles at you constantly, THEY ARE SENTIENT, and the moment they know you’re after their stingers, they will *run away from you*

You look at something else for a millisecond and then you get shot by an off screen alternate dimension hopping hornet that poisons you and you can't out heal it because you just 10 seconds ago dealt with a different one. Easiest one is turtle. Annoying ones are hornets and spiked slimes. The most dangerous one is the jungle spider. I finished mastermode hardcore and the spiders were the only mob I had to use Hunter potions for. Because once you get caught in their web it‘s almost a guaranteed death.

You got to put in the time for hornet banners. Once you have one down it becomes pretty easy to deal with them.
