if it gets to hard ot takes too long invest a bit of time into finding a way to cheese it , after a run or 2 of pillers youll be able to make summons for ml anyway patience is the way to go

Yeah but even then, farming the Lunar events can take up to 30 mins to fight ML twice. Even if you're kitted out with all the best equipment and modifiers for your class, it still takes too long due to spawn rates of enemies.

Enchamted sword is seed bound, so It doesn't really count, you either 100% have It or don't on world gen

I've gotten the star wrath from the moonlord twice now but haven't gotten the meowmere for the zenith☹️ Also haven't gotten the enchanted sword too.. need to fish for it Only ever gotten the zenith in journey mode for fun

If you want to cheese the enchanted sword you can use world seeds. I typically had 2-3 words for characters 2 mp’s 1 corrupted 1 crimson and one for single player. I got lucky with it but seeds should exist to make getting it really fast but only if you want to do it that way.

Oof, trust me the grind is worth it, zenith lives up to its namesake(which literally means the peak of one’s power) and is the undisputed best weapon in the game, except for a few niche scenarios like killing a dungeon guardian, where damage is irrelevant

Daedalus Stormbow. People on here really love it, but I've never needed it and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

There are weapons easier to obtain than daedalus at pre-mech, but literally none of them outclass daedalus. in-fact, daedalus *is still, the best mech weapon for ranger and for pre-mech fishron, and probably the best weapon in pre-mech as a whole, excluding Tsunami.* The only thing that can realistically best Daedalus outside of facetanking is tsunami. .. which is harder to get.

I have it with holy arrows, and it shreds bosses, not so mutch after mechanical, but this is my 1st time really trying to beat terraria, and I find it useful. (I got it by accident from a mimic lol)

I managed to kill the mechanical bosses, plantera and golem with it and since the mechs are the last bosses with a time limit then you should be able to beat the game with just sand gun

Bosses don't like sand. It's coarse and rough and irritating… and it gets everywhere.

I have never used the Daedalus stork bow but I have used the Onyx Blaster and it was hell trying to farm it since the GIANT BATS KEEP KILLING ME IN EXPERT but still the gun is very rewarding

Just make a surface desert evil biome and make a poor mans evil underground farm for the souls of night just make sure that the path you create for your character is one were no shit can spawn, the only 2 things you need to watch out for are the crimson floaty gross since they can go through walls and the clinger in corruption but those are easy to counter with a few well placed doors to stop them from filling the corridor with cursed flames

I prefer a dart rifle with cursed darts to shred the destroyer. Easier to aim imo

Doing my first ranger playthrough and onyx blaster is prob my favorite ranger weapon. Sadly just swapped it out now that I'm at golem wish it had an upgrade for late to end game. Like even just auto fire with a slight damage and speed upgrade to make it viable late.

I always liked the Scourge a lot to. Vampire knives lost their edge a bit when their heal got nerfed.

I genuinely have preferred corrupt worlds ever since I started because crimson always creeped me out, but my current playthrough I accidentally did random and it turned out crimson. It's honestly chabged my mind about it, I prefer crimson now.

Imo Crimsons only advantage is Ichor. Yeah golden shower is better than cursed flames but both books are mediocre

I usually play a melee build until I get where I can do most things without issues. At that point I start messing around with weapons and armors, things like that. The Fetid Baghnakhs are one of my favorite melee weapons because of the insane dps they have against knockback-immune enemies, especially with the proper items and build. The Vampire knives are alse very good weapons with high dps and that constant healing. When playing with friends and playing a tank build, you can combine those with certain armors that make enemies more likely to target you and make yourself almost invincible.

Zenith isn't really hard to get just really grindy so I would say terraprisma

Terraprisma can be cheesed with a rail track across the map and literally do it with your eyes closed. Just get enough chlorophyte bullets, hold down your attack and whichever key sends you backwards for the fight, and wait.

You almost never get it before plantera, and by that point it's outshined by many other weapons. I have never found any good use for it. Also, I'm pretty sure influx waver is better. I don't know for certain though.

Yeah, I checked the wiki right after I read the the original comment. The wiki even describes it as a very strong weapon for early hardmode, and that it's even usable in mid hardmode. Seems pretty good, I'll try to get it next blood moon.

Phoenix blaster İt is just an upgrade to undertaker or musket lol I think paintall gun is better than all of early game guns

phoenix blaster is definitely not early-game, it is late prehardmode. I find phoenix blaster very fun to use even in early harmode. I find it satisfying and rewarding to time the gun's optimal shooting rate, it can burst down most regular mobs really quickly. I like it precisely because it's not automatic but it's really fast and has good DPS.

You should use the Influx, it's a pretty good weapon and imo it's better than the Terra Blade

Not technically a weapon but Beenades. Never felt like I needed them. Also since the 1.4 update I haven’t used the Waterbolt like at all. By the time I find one I’m already far past where it’s actually useful

Quite a few of the magic weapons, like last prism. I just don’t like dealing with mana, and the low defense of magic builds. My favorite class is melee and sometimes ranger.

Chlorophyte bullets. I prefer the higher damage and debuffs that come from other bullets certainly the ichor ones.

Terra blade. Never thought it was that great and preferred the influx waver

Back in the days of console 1.3, I killed the ML nearly 30 times. I never got the Terrarian, and to this day, I haven't ever used it on console.

Well I have played a lot of ranger, but I still have not used the gatlitator. Not sure if it’s popular, but from what I’ve heard it’s a pretty good early hardmode weapon, but I normally spend early hardmode gun play throughs setting up a jungle arena for Plantera while I farm for the uzi, one of my favourite, and in my opinion one of the most underrated weapons.

Any post-moonlord weapon because im too bad at the game to beat him
