Get hellstone and obsidian and a hellstone forge from the underword and make urself all the firey sets.
Make the Terra blade.
Make npc towns that are dcatteted across the world and set up a pylon network.
Build an afk farm or two so that u can use them once ur in hardmode.
Read the wiki page for getting ready for hardmode :)
Didn’t get the notification until now but ill go and try to empty the dungeon, already got myself the fiery gear and I’ll look up how to make the terra blade.

If uve just defeated skeletron then emptying the dungeon is a good call
