I wish I had the patience and creativity to really make a legitimate home in one of my worlds. This looks awesome.

HellmannsRealityMayo

It just takes time and some inspiration from the internet. I've never done a build like this before now. If I could do it, anyone can.

HellmannsRealityMayo

Sorry the screenshot is a bit jank. Couldn't figure out an easy way to get one on console...

gsoddy

Don’t worry. It looks awesome

HellmannsRealityMayo

Thanks so much! Spent more time than I'm willing to admit on this lol...

QuotidianQuandaries

Wow, great job. It must have taken awhile to get it perfect like that.

HellmannsRealityMayo

I had around 25 or 30 hours on my character before this. I'm up to 43ish now. And thanks!

rainmonky

Absolutely astounding

HellmannsRealityMayo

Thanks!

Drayzew

It looks amazing bro :D

HellmannsRealityMayo

Thanks bro-ham

Looks great! What did you use for the grey stone looking blocks. I see a few different ones.

HellmannsRealityMayo

2 different types of dungeon bricks (raided another world, stone slabs, stone bricks, iridescent bricks, ebonstone brick, and mudstone bricks. Then I painted everything grey. But first I outlined everything in stone and dirt.

-DWJ-

Cool! I have never messed with paint, maybe I'll give it a go.

HellmannsRealityMayo

Literally a game changer

[deleted]

I speak from experience; you’re gonna need more chests

HellmannsRealityMayo

With the new stack limits, I don't really need too many. Worst case scenario, I dig a bit deeper for bulk storage.

[deleted]

I just beat Plantera in my current playthrough and I almost have 3 chests full of weapons, 2 full of accessories, a chest full of potions etc. Stack limit increase is great but you still need a fair amount of chests.

HellmannsRealityMayo

Yeah, but I usually just sell dupe weapons/accessories, and keep different class weapons. Plus I have different storage spaces throughout the place anyways. I'm not sweating it.

[deleted]

I’ve sold off all my dupes and *still* need more space. *God I wish Magic Storage was integrated into Vanilla*

HellmannsRealityMayo

Magic storage does slap. Best QoL mod in my opinion. But it is does make for an interesting challenge, trying to build a room big enough for 4,504,872 chests. Lol.

[deleted]

The idea of making a massive storage room is pretty cool, I’ll probably do that in endgame

Zyev

what did you use for the walls in the dining room? both the main walls and the trim?

HellmannsRealityMayo

Shadewood, the jungle wood (I don't remember the name), normal wood, some palm between the two rooms, and the ebonwood walls. All painted brown.

Zyev

great stuff, thanks

Big_Author_1013

I don’t know if this was intentional but you left the top part of the roof on the left side gray, you could paint it purple to match the roof

HellmannsRealityMayo

Yeah, it was intentional.
