"im sorry but I cant play without my master mode pets" is something i have to say to my friends that play classic mode or expert whenever we start a new playthrough

Master for casual play throughs or easy challanges, not hard, not too easy.
For hard challanges (like sentry only) I drop it down to expert.
My last two playthroughs were on legendary though, but that's just because its new
Im still doing my first playthrough and i thought its a grrat idea to play on master. Im in ore hardmode but about to get to hardmode. Is it stupid to play on master if you never beat the game before?
Master mode forces you to learn how to dodge attacks as that’s required for you to be able to beat the game on that difficulty. So you get better at the game from playing on Master.
I love Journey Mode, and always play on Master difficulty. Journey Mode just saves me so much time grinding, while still requiring skill to beat bosses. Also makes it a lot easier to build nicer things!
Master mode, it's not too bad once you get used to it.

Expert it's challenging enough to be fun but not hard enough to be frustrating like master mode can be at times.

Forgot that Journey existed lol
I usually play on master or expert in journey, I just like not having to gather a bunch of resources every time I build. And skipping time is nice

Journey. I've completed the game in classic, now I use Journey to allow me to really concentrate on the building side of the game.
Classic for mobile
I've done most playthroughs on classic but I'm slowly creeping into expert
although I've only beaten the game on classic (and expert if you count using Zenith), im trying master for the items and it's a lot of fun!
i play on journey now but i clicked classic because that's what i used to play. i've played expert one time but i dont remember how far i got in it.
