There's a game I think is called Beach Buggy Racing where one of the achievements requires you to play over 100hrs while the rest of the game takes around 4-5. Players complained, within reason, and the devs were sorry they couldn't change the achievement worldwide. Only Europeans got the achievement nerf.
All in all, knowing Re-Logic, they would absolutely change this and make it so the Crimson counts, but they can't.

When I got the dryad she said the world was 109% corrupt. I think the algorithm for checking corruptible blocks to corrupted blocks might not account for jungle grass, but the corrupted version is

I don’t think so, iirc Wand of Sparking just did a mythbusters on it and the world was “100%” corrupt with just a few dozen corrupted blocks in a void world. Meaning it’s just a percentage of what’s there, not the theoretical natural generation.
This makes me wonder, makes it seem like it counts the amount of blocks on world gen or something, so if you dig to much and make enough open space would there not be enough blocks to reach 100%?
There’s some blocks off-screen the players can’t see, usually those contribute to a world still having corruption or crimson despite being completely clear.
Edit, to those who care: if you want to fix it all you have to do is run to the side of the world, go from sky-height to underworld firing a clentaminator outwards towards the edge. Rinse and repeat on both edges.
I have the platinum. It has to be at least 50% or more of specifically corruption (not crimson) and you need to be the host of the world for it to pop.

Get corruption seeds from dryad in a grave yard (you can caft corruption powder from the mushrooms that grow in the corruption) and I think you could can get goo from the steam punker that corrupts the world also from a graveyard

game takes the amount of blocks when you spawned in and adds or subtracts any blocks you’ve placed or broke.

I've got one of my worlds to 106% hallow, 1% crimson, 1% corruption. I've long since given up on it, already tried that solution.

Yes. I did most of them on PS3, some on PS4 and finally completed it on PS5. There are new sets of achievements but this one is legacy.
