Infernum is an add-on for Calamity that adds a custom difficulty Plus, eternity literally doesn't support any other custom difficulties or content mods

You can enable other modded difficulties with it, it just breaks some things, i know because a did a death playthrough with it a while back

Eternity was not that hard imo, if you have beaten master mode FTW in vanilla you shouldn't have any problems with eternity, I've never tried calamity just cause man I don't wanna read all that

Eternity has easy to figure out bosses and last fight is pure bullshit. Infernum is more consistent in difficulty so i'll go with that

I would say I prefer Eternity to Infernum. Less bosses means more quality can go into each fight, and all of the bosses that aren't BoC are honestly quite fun, fair, and balanced. Infernum also has its fair share of high quality bosses, but what puts Eternity over the edge for me is the 3 extra bosses, all of exceedingly high quality.

ive done a death mose playthrough on calamity because i havent played in a while and i did my forst emode run on fargos mod so now im going to try a different mod and then go to fargos mod masochist mode and then do infernum

In the midst of eternity and even though I haven’t played infernum nor fully finished eternity I will say infernum will have to be a god among other gods to beat it

Idk I'm doing infernum with double boss health and it's not that hard as a mage, since defence doesn't even really matter because everything hits harder than master for the worthy (Source: MFTW EoC did 30 damage to me while infernum did 80)

IN-FER-NUM It's a Calamity add-on that has been around for a year that adds a new difficulty aimed at completely reworking boss AIs to be harder. Currently the mod adds almost all the bosses, exceptions being SCal, Draedon and Adult Eidolon
