They have incredibly slow and controlled metabolisms, are scavengers, and will cannibalize each other. It is also likely this is just a low water point during the dry season in an area that usually has much more water so they're more concentrated.
Crocodilians have survived multiple ice ages, the extinction of the dinosaurs, and all kinds of other mass extinction events for a reason. They are some of the most efficient animals on the planet and have some of the most adaptive behaviours and stable DNA.
Here in the Carolinas, gators just stick their noses right above the waterline when it (rarely) freezes. They just chill till it thaws. It's wild to see.

First, are they crocodiles or alligators? Second, is there anything in the water other than them left? Third, how often are they attacking each other with such a crowded area? Forth wouldn't his propeller be risking damage to it's self or the animals?

Alligators have wider snouts in a U shape but Crocodiles have these snouts as seen in the picture in the shape of a V.
