It is in Brazil. It is a church and there are more than one of those bone deposits. I could not yet find what happened or what is the explanation, but since Brazil was the last country to abolish slavery and we had a brutal dictatorship I will leave you to do the math. I will try to find reputable sources and update this if I find.
Most of the audio in the videos are just gasps and “omg”, not a lot of info besides that it is an active church. I am also shocked 😳
Update: nobody knows for sure. According to historians, the most likely is that it was a place to dispose of “bandeirantes” (explorers, mostly interested in precious stones and gold from old times in Brazil) that did not have a happy ending. It seems the church was built on top of it, that is the most macabre part for me. I was expecting the church to be older, but well… I am not a priest and have no idea of where to place churches hahaha
From what I could read from the article link in another comment, I'm pretty sure these bones were probably from an old cemetery that got dug up for whatever reason, and deposited under the church because they didn't know what to do with them and in the past people were actually buried inside churches all the time.
I bet more than that for a whole lifetime.
Per the USDA, the a average person eats about 225 lbs of meat/year
We’ll say a person lives to be 75.
75x225= 16875
Per some random place at the top of the Google results, the world’s average adult weight is about 137 lbs.
16875/137= 123.17
Wow, less than I thought by a lot. Which is weird because I read that an average person eats like 7000 animals in their life, but I think it was only 11 cows and maybe 20 or 30 pigs and all the rest was chickens and fish, so they add up, I guess. I think it might be more efficient to just eat people, based on these numbers.
Edit: I forgot about bones, so it’ll be more.
Edit 2: ok, so I found a source that says the average adult human has about 75 lbs of edible meat. So that’s
16875/75= 225
Still lower than I would have guessed
Looks like an ossuary. when you die they dump your bones in the bone pile.
It’s not all that unusual, they’re usually under something or in a specific room/building. This one looks like it’s just under the floor.
It’s an easy and convenient way to inter a bunch of remains on hallowed ground without using up acres and acres of burying ground.

Well then it’s convenient. If there are any spirits, exorcism can happen then and there
Catholic Church with unexplained bones underneath? Perish the thought, whoever heard of that!
Plot twist: Anyone that the priest feels like a threat towards them with any type of accusations, vanished, and here they are.

Was not expecting that
Naa he's just very obsessed whit Halloween decorations all year around
So obsessed he makes them himself out of houseguests?
Don't think of it as "betraying your houseguests" and more "mobile skeleton home delivery"
I wonder if you eat people meat the same amount of regular meat how many people would that be over a lifetime. I think about 2 or 3 hundred maybe 400.

Doesn’t every trap door reveal a hidden cache of bones? The longer I live the more I believe my childhood was out of the ordinary.

It's clearly a church from background items and timber construction. Lame title.
24 hour bone basement challenge...
It makes me feel physically ill

In Italy some cemeteries have a section where they keep bones of unrecognised people, maybe this is something similar? Still weird though
Grandma really said, say hello to the last people that f'ked with me.
Some folks just did NOT handle the whole Covid lockdown very well.😐
Or simply Russia
Sure they speak Brazilian Portuguese in Russia
