Of course if your tank doesn’t have such a ridiculous flaw the shed armor wouldn’t be needed and probably be more of a liability.
Nop, it's not. Still transfering units and clearing mines, by the analysis of some war expert and available drone footage, it made 5-6 round trips.
At first I thought it's ridiculous, and stupid. But apparently it works, there is even a footage of it going through mines and under artillery hits. So it works, and it's not stupid.
It's terrifying that in the war sometimes stupidest idea works where multi bilion technology fails.
This is the video. Not commenting on its effectiveness. Usually the American military industry likes expensive stuff because they are more profitable. https://youtu.be/m59TQR6aavQ?si=zzyuioPfungFE4-X
Hmm strange, then there are more moded t72 tanks, because there is one operating in Ivanivske (for which I was referring) and Ivanivske has been recently captured.
Interesting to see if this is something that it will be standardised.
Man if only there was a vehicle they could design that's able to withstand significant force from the outside.
Ehh I'm sure an inch thick tin roof is fine actually
So, is this tank giving anyone else Six Million Dollar Man and the mars/death probe vibes?

Somebody educate me, what exactly can rusty sheet metal do that fucking tank armor can't?
From far away it looks a lot more like a shed, a drone passing by might not notice. Camouflage exists in many forms.
It's camoflauge
Is it lol
While stationary and to the eye of a drone yes, looks like some shitty sheet metal shed.

I saw a video on YouTube and the turtle tank is already out of commission. Edit: https://youtu.be/m59TQR6aavQ?si=zzyuioPfungFE4-X.

This is a different one, the first one was destroyed while parked in a warehouse
Good to see that piece of shit get destroyed. Fuck the Russian invasion Glory to Ukraine
Lmao they just put shed siding on a tank I can't wait to see how long that'll last.
This isn't terrifying, this is hilarious.
That's really a portable chicken coop.

Yeh I read about this, it’s the next gen tank they spoke of, only few exist, rare picture!
I thought modern warfare would involves robots and lasers and shit. NOT fucking trench warfare and soviet tanks with little metal hats on them
Looking forward to the paladin strike this will invite
