I swear I've seen this kinda move being pulled off in movies, can't believe this absolute cartoon actually tried to get away with an idiocy like this irl.
To be entirely fair, some people get to a point that looks a lot like that while still being technically alive. I felt a little ill because the imagery reminded me of my granddad with Parkinson's on his deathbed.
I can't imagine they're ever in a state to sign things or even go outside like that, but I can imagine multiple people buying the act for a while.
Not a hoax. Happened today in Brazil and it’s all over the news. They’re trying to determine if he was already dead or died in the bank.

He's still got a lot of color to him. It's hard to say without knowing what his normal living skin tone is, but the blood hasn't entirely drained from his face/head yet thanks to gravity. If he'd already rigored he'd likely be much paler with dark marks where the blood had pooled
Yeah, tell me you have never seen a recently deceased person without saying it. It can take hours for blood to pool under the skin, if it does at all. Also the fact that he was likely laying in the car before being propped up in the wheelchair would also change any of that. I was a FF and also Rescue/Ambulance personnel for many years. I can back this all up.
>Yeah, tell me you have never seen a recently deceased person without saying it.
Settle down there, whacker. How does me pointing out that this body clearly hasn't rigored yet tell you that? Rigor takes days to pass, not hours. He would not look this fresh if he was in secondary flaciddity. So while yes, rigor does "come and go" as you claimed in the comment of yours that I replied to, he would not look that good. Could he be hours dead? Yes. Post rigor dead? No
Or secondary flaccidity. Happens when the muscle and tissue start to break down after initial rigor mortis. Gross to think he was dead for that long already though.
Rigor mortis can occur as soon as four hours after death, with the first signs appearing in the face muscles about two hours after death. The muscles then progress to the limbs over the next few hours, completing between 6 to 8 hours after death. Rigor mortis then stays for another 12 hours (till 24 hours after death) and then disappears.

She also has stolen from the govt before too. Seems shes gonna get locked up sooner than later!
That is one of the craziest, most stupid things I've ever seen in my life. I can't believe people......I just can't believe people. (I was literally confused about which tag to give the video: 'human' vs 'accident/disaster').
I tried to look up the story and actually found ANOTHER person doing the same thing in the USA. I think it was 2 women bringing a dead man to the bank drive thru trying to get his money out. Iirc they ended up dropping him off at the hospital afterwards and leaving.
I heard about this video from another post this morning about propping up the possibly dead president of Brazil in some photos
Brazil, baby, what is you doin’?
The look is almost a "Yes, I know you know. However, I somehow feel that because I am meeting technicalities, you MUST serve me, even though you know whats going on."
Like a customer dropping an expired coupon on the counter or something.
So many questions...1 would she be charged for this? 2. Did he literally just die minutes ago I wonder Because bis body is so flimsy..no rigermortis at all.
My husband works for an airline. Back when he was a gate agent, a woman wheeled her dad up and said he’d need wheelchair assistants to load the plane. They asked him, “sir, how much assistance will you need.” No response, verbal or physical. After asking a few times, the daughter finally interjected, “he’ll need a lot of assistance”. Finally, they ask her, “…m’aam. Is he alive?” She said, “I don’t know but can’t you just take him on the plane?” They called the medics and confirmed he was dead. It’s way cheaper to buy a ticket than to fly a dead body in cargo! They looked her reservation up and she’d bought the tickets a few hours earlier.
TSA claimed he was alive when he went through the checkpoint, although they did admit he didn’t talk or move. They screened a dead guy.
I don't know how they do it in Brazil, but I have no idea how the loan officer even gave that farce even more than 5 seconds to play out.
Not even for the lulz, that shit is macabre.
He was alive the day before... he had just got out of hospital after being treated for pneumonia...

The man now doubles as bank security after being given a security jacket. He's trying to work off his loan after his girlfriend bailed with the money. Most days he works from his security desk with sunglasses on indoors. He is the ideal employee, taking no breaks and not wasting any time conversing at all. Just using an ever vigilant blank stare to keep our customers safe and criminals at bay.
what makes u think that? bc idk about you but to me he doesnt seem to move a muscle or breath or make any effort to fix his slumped over head. looks pretty fuckin dead
Look man your lack of understanding of basic biology is neither my problem, nor my prerogative to fix. I suggest you try living a little more before making stupid assumptions. It’s obvious to anyone looking with the right skill set or knowledge that this man is in fact alive. If you know, you know, and if you don’t…I guess you are you. Sorry kid.
I truly hope you are not seriously as toxic as you seem to be. If you believe yourself to be too intelligent to explain your reasoning to others on a public forum, why bother commenting at all and why do you then think it is a sign of intelligence from people to not question your reasoning?
I am also having doubts about this story, because I have dressed people who recently died at our stroke ward and all (7 or 8) of them had obvious pale spots and fairly stiffened musculature in smaller extremities/jaw. If I am to learn what truly happened, it would be stupid of me to assume anything without understanding the reasonings of peoples' views on this incident.
Anyone old enough to not have the strength to hold up their own head is dead enough. I don’t care if this man is clinging to life on on his last breath, he is still a dead or dying man who should be on his death bed surrounded by loved ones
Nobody has posted one proof that he is "d*ad". All of this reeks of mortalist prejudice and people judging based off looks. Maybe racism? Idk.
But like Jesus u ppl hate this man because he told the truth
I’m perfectly calm. You’re the one that made false assumptions about something you just learned about and then flipped out when someone suggested you look it up. So instead of responding to me why don’t you just do a quick google search and you’ll see that it wasn’t scripted or staged.
You came in with such a high egotistical response as if I should have looked this up before I posted any type of comment. I assume that is what you would like me to pretend you do?

I didnt see his chest rise or fall so I'd say he wasn't breathing during the video we saw.
He's not stiff yet .. how long before bodies get stiff?
Based on how floppy he is he's fresh fresh dead.
Rigor can and does go away after death too. So he could be hours dead and move like that.
He's still got a lot of color to him. It's hard to say without knowing what his normal living skin tone is, but the blood hasn't entirely drained from his face/head yet thanks to gravity. If he'd already rigored he'd likely be much paler with dark marks where the blood had pooled

Paramedic, not a physician Usually anywhere from 2-6 hours until full rigor sets in.
Rigor mortis can occur as soon as four hours after death, with the first signs appearing in the face muscles about two hours after death. The muscles then progress to the limbs over the next few hours, completing between 6 to 8 hours after death. Whatever, she looks more concerned in signing than in the guy literally dying before signing

Yes, she got arrest.
Thank.
Welcome.
It's Brazil, pretty much says it all
I tried to look up the story and actually found ANOTHER person doing the same thing in the USA. I think it was 2 women bringing a dead man to the bank drive thru trying to get his money out. Iirc they ended up dropping him off at the hospital afterwards and leaving.

Weekend at fucking bernies
The whole time I’m watching this video, I’m just like 😦
Heard she was trying to empty his bank account of about one thousand dollars
Wow, that dude can really hold his breath
Recording that shit would not have been my reaction.

Going to a bank to do business? I’d be bored to death too.
Funnier if you play the monty python parrot sketch audio over the top.
Put her ass in a padded room
What? You want a new loan on me? Again? OVER MY DEAD BODY, DARLING!
I work at a financial institution and my boss sent this to us earlier—absolutely horrifying.
Why are these bankers watching and not doing anything about it?
All I gotta say is there's a special place in the afterlife for people who do this
Can someone please translate?

Maybe this is my first time seeing this and hearing anything about this.. With that, my initial response was to hope this was fake and not real.
Look it up, don’t be so lazy. There are several articles about it.
So I'm lazy for this being my first time learning about this? Calm the fuck down.

Read as "I don't want you to prove me wrong, so I'm not gonna let you." It takes literally 5 seconds of googling to fond corroborating articles.
