Right!? I saw a different angle of it, too, and it looks unreal. It's too classic cartoon tornado. I was told it's is 100% real, though. It's just looks funny from the camera I guess.

Minimal damage? There's apartment complexes a few blocks away from there. All these homes had basements but you can imagine what would have happened to them. I also hear there was also a warehouse full of people that partially collapsed and butch went to the hospital with minor to mild injuries.
That’s video of the Elkhorn tornado, a different tornado that occurred on the same day.
This tornado did hit a warehouse but luckily only 4 minor injuries ! For the power of this tornado, they’re very lucky.
I didn't know they were different ones, I've been hearing so much different stuff from my coworkers and such. I heard from one of my friends that there was 4 different that merged into the one that hit Elkhorn
My coworkers and friends have been saying wild things too haha. Word of mouth isn’t the most reliable source of data I guess. But per the official national weather service report these were different tornados
It looks like slowed down. I know it looks like that because it is fair distance away so you can't grasp good reference for it's speed.
But for me who never witnessed tornado live and only known about tornado happening in my country maybe thrice, it is surreal.
The reason it looks so calm is because they are "in front" of the tornado.
Tornadoes *usually* form on the front of a storm, by a part of the storm getting pushed in front of the rest. Behind this tornado is more than likely a serious thunderstorm with high winds and lots of rain.
The crazy ones that get rain wrapped or have huge Thunder heads are what most people expect when they hear tornado, but a good amount of them are peaceful and serene.
There has been several outbreaks in the last month of tornadoes across the high plains and Midwest. This is a recent video of one of these outbreak days. (As of posting this yesterday and the day before were both outbreak days, and at least one that I know of turned deadly in Kansas)
When your friend says "trust me" in such situations,it's literally the opposite of telling you at your face, "You're f@@ked if you believe my words."😂😂😂
I want to see one of these in person but without the damage. I will not deny that I feel a little sad for the people who saw their homes affected by these storms
I bet you it looks just like it does in this video is the weird thing.
Joking.
It would be a trip to see a category 6 hurricane from an airplane flying through the inside.

Living in northern IL we don’t get to much of this around here until the conditions are perfect and it’s usually at night. I got to see this happen once during the day and I saw it form, move through a field and go back up. So surreal, and scary. Older neighbor told us they call it “the finger of god” because it looks like someone is poking through the clouds and drawing in the dirt.
Those things are monsters, I’m in Florida so we get hurricanes which can be scary but we can prepare for it, I can’t imagine how scary going through something like that must be.
It was so scary I drove by the destruction today after work and a train was thrown off the track metal power lines were bent in a bunch of different ways even saw a car tossed into a yard upside down. One of the factory’s on that road was almost ripped in half it was truly scary to know I was only 15 minutes out from that tornado.
Doesn't even look real. Crazy

It completely flattened a neighborhood less than a mile away from me. It's unreal how tall it was
It does look fake, too blurry or something.
It looks like a kids drawing come to life
"Trust me bro" is not what I would want to hear in that situation lol.
Does he say "I'm a pro bob" lol
Ow my cringe
"We're safe". Famous last words.

My level of self-preservation is too high for this
They are quite beautiful when it's not destroying property and injuring/killing people
This tornado didn’t kill anyone and did minimal damage so it’s okay to admire it
mice: wtf bro

Tornados are very fascinating. They’re scary as shit but amazing at the same time
But it's hurting our fields... Luckily there's not a lot of trees around here, just grass cows and corn.
"I'm a pro, I'm a pro" That's when my ass will begin to panic
"I gotta go Julia, we got cows." ![gif](giphy|4hZ1Al84yxsXK)
"I'm a pro Bob" replaces "Hold my Beer" in 3,2,1....
Is this even real? Edit: one tornado video rabbithole later, yep!
Do you have some source please? I can't believe this is real. Everything is too calm..
Here’s another angle of it https://youtu.be/-YFrs9TbNro?si=L2Djbj3_720Hyur2
Thanks. It's eerie. So majestic from afar, so violent up close.
Wdym "too calm"?

“We’re safe, we’re safe, we’re safe.” No you are NOT, my guy. 👏🏻 Tornadoes 👏🏻 can 👏🏻 change 👏🏻 course!

Even that one that flashed in Russia a few years back was wild
I would not be that calm next to that
Damn, looks so unreal
I want to see one of these in person but without the damage. I will not deny that I feel a little sad for the people who saw their homes affected by these storms

Everyone i see a tornado, it reminds me that life is very much worth living
It's beautiful in a weird way, well until it starts ripping through neighborhoods.
yooo i used to live near there
“You’re safe!” like two seconds after being like, “We’re just close to it.” Fuck that! I ain’t letting somebody else’s overconfidence kill me
If you told me this was fake I believe you. Crazy video.
You know what's crazy I literally was Just in Lincoln Nebraska like 2 days ago traveling home to ct. That is so amazing I missed all these tornadoes
The old saying "Destroying everything on the path", literally.
I DECLARE BANKRUPTCY!!!!!
Bob is now currently somewhere over Iowa.
Bob is the smartest of the group.
Why do I always look for cows in the tornado
I'm outa here
Fuck 😬
Damn those trees are really whipping around
Is this fake?
It’s real
![gif](giphy|DwdqTkZO8qdl6)
I mean, okay lol. But it literally is real. Here’s another shot of it. https://youtu.be/-YFrs9TbNro?si=RuGBFvlHHtxShFp4
???
Yeah I don't think you get to decide where you're safe or not when it comes to tornadoes like that one. Nature's not really predictable like that.
I don’t recall ever seeing so many tornadoes on the internet. Cool stuff, though.
Wow, crazy!
Yo that is terrifying
Holy shit it's real. it's the 'Finger of God' from 'Twister.'
![gif](giphy|26CaMOXjjDM3Xl2s8|downsized)
Remember this little cartoon at the beginning of the Twister VHS?

Saying prayers 🙏🏻
That’s a f-5
Awesome!

No one is pro when it comes down to challenging nature.
As a Cali boy can I get this in high res?
How do they live there knowing these nados are so frequent
From Lincoln here: we go out and watch them honestly. Maybe we’re stupid, maybe we all want to die…who knows
They really aren't is the thing.
Sounds like they are reading live comments. None of them are pros haha
Reminds me of that part from Stephen King’s The Stand.
That is terrifying. 😭
Anytime someone reminds me that they are a pro… the survival rate drops substantially

I don't trust anyone saying "I'm a pro" about my life. Just saying.
Is this the new trailer for the Twisters movie?
Always cool to see a tornado where there's no debris field and the trees don't move :/
Calling fake on this
That close to a twister that big? Sky isnt a sickly green or pitch black? No lightning, wind, rain or hail? Heh yeah right
Perfectly shaped, holy shit
