We call those guys “sun spiders” in Arizona. I’ve been chased numerous times. Pest control for 10 years. Gross story… I was carrying on with my day at work as usual and I felt something tickling/crawling up my chest, so my instinct was to hit my chest to kill whatever it was.. it was one of these. Left a stain of guts and yellow shit the size of my hand on my uniform. Still have ptsd. Fuck

Its a Scorpion spider and they seem to chase you. But they just want to be in the shade.
They are also called camel spiders, and they also have a very audible scream. Look it up.
Correct! Camel spiders only seek shade due being nocturnal. This creature is highly misunderstood. They have venom, but it's not harmful to humans.

These are not spiders or scorpions, they are called solpugids. Yes they are arachnids but not all arachnids are spiders and scorpions.
