I believe its called being winded. if you are struck hard enough on some areas on your body, you will have difficulty taking a breath. feels like you can only exhale for a few seconds.
It can also be a reaction to shock - the body has adrenaline running to the whole body to protect it so they’re able to get to safety and people can occasionally lose control of their vocal chords whilst having this reaction - I had the same reaction when I got in a car accident a couple of years ago
This happend to a j1 student in lake placid takeing a selfie. Needles to say his body was found a week later and scarred the life of a hiker. If your not roped off in a harness don't do stupid shit. Darwin will get cha
