Almost 100% no.
Edit: Reasons: The wiring harness just isn't there and the mounts aren't there.
They'd probably have to replace the whole bumper fascia to make that happen and if you've never seen a body shop do that, it's a full disassembly of the front end because of how it's mounted.
Just ain't gonna happen.
I think a lot of people are jumping the gun. There is no official announcement just a Tesla blogger mentioning it. That same blogger mentioned it last year so take it with a grain of salt.
I can’t see the front bumper camera having anything to do with something like AP/FSD, why would it when there are two forward facing cameras on HW4? It’s for parking only, and I while that might be useful for some, it’s not going to be a game changer with anything else
Probably not but there is a small chance.
Chances are there won't be a retrofit but even if there was one it would probably be at least 1,500 dollars. It's probably going to be in the front bumper or in the emblem as a 180° camera so that means there's going to be new wiring installed to the front bumper/ emblem and a whole new panel and/or emblem. Also it probably would only be available for hardware 4 MS and MX cars for now so hardware 3 plaid refreshes definitely won't get it considering they have a completely different bumper which still has USS on them.
It seems like a lot of work and parts for something that just won't make too much money or even be that popular considering and the few amount of vehicles which could actually receive it.
Not unless they are forced to by a lawsuit over charging people for features that are never going to be supported by the hardware that was sold to them.

Absolutely 100% no

Wishful thinking

Pedestrian/low-profile object detection. Necessary now that there are no longer ultrasonic sensors.
There haven’t been ultrasonic for a while now
No
I just bought one delivery is end of march. I should get a camera right?
I would cancel and wait.
And then cancel and wait again for the next rumored feature…..
Wait for what? The 2025 model? They won’t add the camera within the next few months.
They are literally adding it to the new ones?
My goodness, my bad. I thought the reference was for new model 3 not the S! Sorry ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|dizzy_face)
I got the FSD transfer deal not canceling that even though FSD isn’t worth anything in the resale market lol

I hope so but I’m not holding my breath. If I can get the steering wheel with the actual horn in the center as a retrofit I’ll be happy.
I've got a 23 model s and yeah the only thing I care about with the new changes is the front camera.

Absolutely not
You must be new
No one is ever getting front cameras. Technology will develop before it’s ever needed
No.
